The hotel was extremely good value. It was close to the port and provided all that we needed. Staff were lovely. Food was on hand and nourished our tired bodies after the long journey. It's not a 5 star hotel but neither is the price.

Lovely historic building - located in a small town, close to Caen, Bayeux (with its famed tapestry), Normandy D-day history sites. Very clean. Restaurant was great. They have a tennis court and a little farm with VERY cute bunnies. Only thing to note is that they don’t supply conditioner so ladies bring your own or let your hair get frizzy like I did.

Great location if you are driving. Parking in town is a real pain. This property is outside of the main city and has a nice secure parking lot. A lot of tours use this hotel. This hotel is newer and more modern than most hotels in town.

"Because wet weather curtailed our sightseeing we arrived two hours too early so unsurprisingly there was no room ready for us. The reception staff made us coffee and let us drip gently in a comfy corner of the reception area until a room was available. Dinner was exceptional."
