“Chill out at the Microtel!”
Great price for a comfy and clean nights stay. Refrigerator and microwave a plus! Close to EVERYTHING you need especially if this is your first time to Columbia. Super friendly staff too. Thanks!!!
“Quality Hotel”
This is our third time making reservations within 6 mths. It has affordable prices, great staff and comfortable stay.
“Good value for economy motel”
I have stayed at this motel three times. The motel has been cocsistant in providing good value for an economy motel in room, service and comp. breakfast.
“"A Good Value Short Stay"”
We spent 3 days at this hotel. The staff were friendly upon check-in and throughout our stay. The room was clean but the downside was that there was a somewhat thin connector door between it and the room next to ours. This and the walls let some noise in from the adjacent room at times. Room service was not the best, as there were some days when they did not come in when they should have. Great location though, very close to Harbison Blvd and good shopping. All in all, good value for money.
“Nice Stay”
My family came on a family emergency basis. Despite the "not so good" reviews, we booked here because it was close to family, low cost, and we did not plan on being there much anyway. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We did not do much adventuring but there is plenty of shopping right down the road. We will stay again.
“My Exp”
The hotel was sufficable. It was ok but nothing really special.Nothing stuck out to me. It was a decent experience.Probably would not go back though. Staff was friendly but the heating system kept turning on and off all night so the room was stifiling most of the night. We had to crack the window just to be able to breathe. Walls were paper thin though, so we heard a couple being intimate next door. Service was great though.
“Sold on the Customer Service”
Overall, the hotel was okay. What I did not like the most was that you could hear conversations in other rooms as if they were in your room. (Paper thin walls) There are no iron or ironing boards in the rooms. You have to check them out at the front desk. TV, microwave, and fridge were outdated. However, the staff were super nice and effecient!
“good value”
Good value for least expensive room in the area.
“Just ok”
Not very impressed. Room looked nothing like internet pictures. In need of some upgrades, good cleaning, oh the air condition was not very good. It was just ok.
“Disgusting hotel”
No joke, this hotel from the outside looked decent, when I walked in the lobby, again it looked pretty good, warm and clean. Once you step into the elevator and the door opened to my floor I could see the filthy carpets, smell the musty cigarette smoke and filthy walls. The room itself was a throwback from the 80's, the bedding was gross and dirty, the bathroom had cigarette burns on the sink and carpet was a dark green that still showed its age and I am 100% certain more than a handful of filthy slobs urinated and god knows what else on them. I am not Donald Trump but when I do travel I stay in nice, upscale hotels, this hotel was a mistake and unfortunately due to the masters tournament every other hotel was booked solid. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
