“Good value and location”

Clean and in a very good location. Right at the intersection of an expressway and major highway. I recommend this hotel as an alternative to the hotels in downtowm Columbia.

“Nice hotel but a few issues!”

The hotel is modern and very nice but the bathroom was falling apart. I got up in the night to use the bathroom and there was a puddle of water on the floor that I almost slipped on. It appeared to have leaked from above. I took pics of the bathroom as the toliet above obviously leaked through as the drywall was recently repaired and the back of the toliet in my room was recently repaired as well because a huge part of the wall was damaged. The bath tub area had a bunch of little bug things likely related to all the water issues. But other then the bath room issues it was a nice hotel.

“One of the better cheap hotels”

not bad at all. better than i expected. room was clean. bed was clean. bathroom was clean. trimwork and paint job was a little shotty in some places but again.... its a very low priced hotel. i have seen much worse for the same rate and have even seen worse for higher rates. i would stay here again and can recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive alternative to staying at the casinos.

“breakfast bad”

This hotel was located right where I wanted to do my business. Breakfast was not to good at all. The only morning I went to breakfast, the hostess excuse was oh we had a lot of military people in so we don't have much left.

“Don't arrive early”

Hotel and room were good for a short stay. Buffet breakfast sucked big time. I drove 12 hrs and arrived around 1230pm The receptionist would not accommodate me and my two kids and had me sitting around for three and a half hours until the regular check in time.

The room was very nice. The bed was as comfortable my own. The only complaint I have is the drain in the tub needed to be cleaned. The water drained much too slowly. The only real improvement I could suggest would be a complimentary breakfast bar.

“I have seen better and worse”

I was upgraded for free to a suite by hotel staff that were courteous. Had a fine meal at the restaurant located on site. Cleanliness was not a problem but I will say the room I was in appeared to be well used. Not a problem for most but maybe a problem for the picky.

“Very pleased”

I was alarmed when I read reviews of this hotel on other sites. I was pleasently surprised. The meals were very good and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We went to see our son graduate from boot camp at Ft. Jackson. This hotel is only about 15 minutes from Ft. Jackson. We had 2 adjoining rooms. Both were clean and comfortable but well used. The mattresses were actually among the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. I would stay here again. The exercise room equipment has seen better days and should be updated.
