“Clean and Comfortable and Only 10 Min from Ft JAX”

I was very pleased that this hotel was only a 10 minute drive to Fort Jackson. The room was very clean and comfortable. My only complaint would be that they did not offer movies for rent (Pay Per View). Internet was free; coffee was available. I'd highly recommend this hotel for this area.

“Great Renovation”

This hotel was remodeled a few years back, and they have done a great job. The lobby, hallways, and room was great. The beds were very comfy, as were the pillows and sheets. One of the better hotels I have stayed in!

We were ending our South Carolina vacation at the coast and wanted a quiet, nice place to stay for our last night before we caught a plane in Columbia back to California. This place is a higher end Holiday Inn with the most comfortable beds you can imagine. We needed a crib, directions to the airport (20 minutes away) and a reccomendation to a family restaurant ( across the street). They do have a restaurant but the 2 year old was hungry NOW and it didn't open for another hour. The pool was closed for repairs so they sent us across the street to a sister property. Back at the property, I had a relaxing drink in the bar. All the hotel service people were wonderful and accomodating to all our needs. They have a cute little convenience store where my granddaughter found a book for $4.00 for the plane ride home. Thanks for making the end of our vacation special.

“Fort Jackson Basic Graduation”

Hotel was very convenient to Fort Jackson. Lots of great places to eat nearby. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend especially if going to Fort Jackson.

“Will Definitely Go Back”

We chose Holiday Inn & Suites because of the proximity to Fort Jackson and the pictures online. I was apprehensive as Holiday Inn did not have a very good reputation with me. The brochures ALWAYS look nicer than it really is. My family was pleasantly surprised. The people at the front desk were helpful and very friendly. The restaurant staff made us feel at welcomed (truly ... we dressed VERY casual as if we were at home). Loved the free internet access from our room, free access to the business center use the printer. My son said the pool was a little scary. From a distance, it did not look inviting only because the pool and the parking lot were empty. The last night, the air conditioning fan was noisy. The minor "architectural" bloopers were the hand towel ring fell off the wall, the piping could be seen under the sink, and it was difficult to use the sink without flooding the counter. It also took a long time to figure out how to turn on the shower (quickie instructions would have helped). These are VERY MINOR and would not stop us from booking this hotel again. In fact, if all Holiday Inn and Suites were like this, we would have no hesitation staying at the hotel.

This was a nice place with pleasant staff. Nicely appointed for the most part, and well maintained.

This was a great place to stay, very nice on the inside and outside and affordable. It is a couple of miles away from Fort Jackson and very easy to get to.

“Great Hotel, perfect for Harley Rally”

Hotel was HQ for the Harley Rally, which worked out very well. Staff was accommodation and friendly. Only issue was my coffee maker didn't work, and after requesting the Front Desk replace, a new one never arrived.

“Great Stay”

Everything about this hotel was great. No complaints at all! It was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I go back to the area. It is in a great location as well, right off the exit of the highway. Internet was free, fast, and wireless and the food from room service was delicious =) Definitely stay here!
