The hotel was modern and clean, it was also close to the shops and the centre of Cognac. The staff were very helpful and efficient.

Great Hotel in Cognac
The hotel is close to many attractions and restaurants. Cognac from this hotel is very walkable. We had a car and were able to park across the street at a free parking lot that always had space available even thought it’s not very big. The hotel was very spacious, clean, quiet and equipped with AC. The breakfast was a su charge but it was delightful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to those who don’t want to break the bank yet want a good comfy clean hotel.

Affordable hotel option at Cognac
The photo is representative of the room, but you have to look for a photo of the toilet & the shower. The price reflects the overall condition. The bottom line is at that price, I would still stay there.

Close to Remy Martin
Hotel was in a good location to Remy martin. The air conditioning didn't work properly during our stay and because it was 40 degree weather it was hard to be comfortable but everything else was fine.

Well located for town centre and parking. Breakfast was good value. Tried too book other Ibis hotels direct from this Ibis hotel but they were unable to match travel web sites, cannot understand why this is?

This is a hotel we stay at regularly when travelling through France. It is a good stop-over. This trip they were in the middle of renovations. Our room had been finished and was very pleasant and comfortable. The staff,as always were welcoming and friendly.

We really came to see the great cognac houses so this accommodation suited us fine as it was close to everything. It is basic but comfortable and the extra charge for the breakfast was really worth it.

Nice hotel close to the town
Arrived on late on Saturday unfortunately not many places are open and majority of businesses close on Sunday and Monday. Martell offered a great tour best to book in advance for language tours. Have enjoyed my stay and definitely go back.

Central position but oh so noisy
The hotel is well positioned, has a car park directly opposite (so convenient) and the room is clean and adequate. Unfortunately we arrived late in the day and got one of the (only) rooms on each floor that is directly opposite the lift when all the others are enclosed behind another door. But it wasn't so much as the noise from the lift but we could hear EVERY footstep from the room above that started at about 6:30am. Plus the air-conditioning didn't seem to be working in our room, it was cooler in the corridor than inside the room. The next night we stayed at an CDG airport hotel (Relais Spa) for the same price and it was LUXURIOUS in comparison.

Super accueil, rien a redire. Grand parking sur la place juste à côté, parfait. Chambre suffisamment grande, salle de bain propre. J'avais pris une chambre confort dont l'un des + est (en théorie) l'isolation phonique. Une toile de tente Queshua au bord d'une autoroute est certainement plus calme. Entre les bruits de porte qui claquent car elles ne se ferment pas correctement. Le bruit du chauffage soufflant. Vous aurez le choix entre le bruit constant ou crever de froid), perso à 3h du mat j'ai préféré avoir froid. Et si avec tout ça vous n'êtes pas déranger par l'éclairage publique qui passe par les côtés du rideaux, et bien vous pourrez dormir jusqu'à au moins 6h30, puisque qu'après le festival de bruit recommence. Ma pire expérience d'un IBIS.
