Future Daughter-In-Law Wedding Shower
What an absolute Gem of a VRBO rental! My son & his future wife own a home in Madison so the Clinton area was perfect for our stay. Jamie was a wonderful host providing snacks, soda and coffee during our stay. The unit was spotless, and our one question was responded to quickly. We’ll definitely be back - actually in June for the wedding. Thank you Jamie for the hospitality!

Lovely cottage close to everything
We were in CT visiting our children and grandchildren! This cottage was a perfect place to use as our home base. It was large enough for them to come visit us and enjoy playing games, good conversation, and much laughter. It also allowed us access to many activities available throughout the shoreline. Jaime was wonderful to communicate with.

Fun visit with the grandkids!

Close to so many attractions
Overall reach day excellent post not within walking distance to any beaches but everything was super close 5 to 10 minutes driving. Inside look brand new & spotless!

Secluded sweet spot near everything
We all loved the well kept little house, particularly the fabulous deck which we used every morning for breakfast. The loft ladder is a little tricky & I wouldn't recommend it for older folks & leave your luggage on the ground floor. All beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed & more. Shower water pressure was great & plenty of nice towels. A/C & fans were helpful particularly in loft. Host was great, responsive & left us treats.

Great, Cozy Spot
I stayed here with two of my girlfriends during our college reunion. The house was adorable and easy to get to and from, well appointed with all the things we needed for a comfortable stay. Jamie was also super responsive in the days before, which was incredibly helpful. We’d definitely stay here again!

Spring Break 2023
Lovely little cottage. Plenty of sleeping space. The deck was a beautiful place to have morning coffee and watch the birds. There were beautiful flowers blooming and it made it look like the cottage popped right out of a storybook. Neighbors were kind. There were plenty of places to obtain anything we needed - convenience wise. Our daughter loved Clinton Town Beach which was a couple minutes away - beautiful park, beach, lots of shells. Location was excellent. Communication was excellent as well - before, during, and after our stay. We already miss the loft set up now that we’re home! Highly recommend and would stay again!

Lovely Getaway!

Cozy and Comfortable
This cottage was ideal for our family. Enough space, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds with cozy linens. Jaime clearly is interested and committed to sustainability, recycling and organic living as much as possible which we appreciate. Jamie even made a special trip to turn on the front porch light when she learned I was arriving late.

Great for a quick family vist
I was visiting over a quick weekend with my 11 year old daughter to see my mom, and Jaime's place was perfect for us. The sleeping loft was fun for the kiddo and the full living room, kitchen, and downstairs bedrooms were comfortable for the adults.

Ideal Fall Get-away
We had a much needed, relaxing stay. There's a lot to do-- beach, park, hiking, kayaking, shopping, museums. The house is cozy and welcoming. Standouts: great parking, fantastic water pressure in the shower, private outside seating, lots of sunshine. The owner was in contact with us throughout, but not invasively. Would highly recommend!!

Perfect little cottage
Perfect space for us and our two little kids. The downstairs bedrooms were able to fit all 4 of us including the trundle bed for one of the kids. Negotiating the steps, especially for the kids, would have been difficult. The lobster rolls a short walk down the road were one of the highlights of the weekend.

We enjoyed our stay, the beds were very comfy and there was a lot of natural light from the upstairs loft beds area, which made the downstairs area very cheerful. We were about 10 minutes from the beach and Lenny and Joe's restaurant, which was a huge plus for us. We didn't use the deck area, but it looked great and the lights on it at night were lovely.

sweetest spot
lovely spot for a month. so near Hammonasset state park-great nature station, ivoryton playhouse-you can get a temporary library card at all local libraries. the coastline is so pretty at clinton town hall. and kayaking through marshes delightful. wonderful place to stay

Cute, Comfy Cotfage
It was a cold month of March in CT, but we were grateful to return to Grove Cottage while we were getting our newly purchased home ready to move into. This is a well designed home in a quiet location near the marina. In the summer lobster shacks are right down the road within walking distance. Sunsets are pretty from the picture window. The closets are well designed and small details have been considered. It is nicely decorated. Communications with our host were a dream. We really felt like this was a great home base for us!

Lovely cottage in a nice location
My husband, two young adult children and I stayed at the cottage for 4 nights while visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was a very easy check in. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We would definitely stay there again.

Not what we were expecting in this neighborhood
The cottage was as described and as pictured. However it sits on a cul de sac and the condition of those properties are an eye sore. Granted the owner has no control over the neighbors but it was not what we expected for this street or for a vacation property.

Had a great stay. The cottage was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the patio and the cozy living area. Great restaurants in walking distance and I was able to launch my SUP in the harbor. Host was very helpful and thoughtful. We wanted to stay longer!

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Old Saybrook CT. The house was clean & perfect for our stay! The owners were very accommodating & very responsive with any questions. The house had everything we may have needed (Linens, kitchen utensils, shampoo/conditioner, etc) and was easy to get to. Very enjoyable stay!!

This lovely cottage was everything my best friend/kids and myself/son needed to meet halfway for a visit...after not seeing each other for over a year! Set back from the main road with big trees that supplied shade....we had a great time playing outside on the deck and relaxing inside. The house had everything we needed and more! Cute beach town that had a nice kid friendly beach and lots of historic charm. We plan to make more trips meeting half way....and we might end up coming back....we loved it that much! Thank you for a comfortable stay!

Hideaway cottage perfect for two!
We had a lovely stay at this little cottage, perfect for two adults or maybe 2 adults and 2 young kids. The house was clean and tidy and had all the basics. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the large and private deck, watching all of the bird and squirrel activity in the surrounding trees! Walking distance to the town marina and the famous Lobster Landing restaurant and very close to town and state beaches. A perfect spot for a little seaside getaway!

Very enjoyable cottage by the water
My coworker and I were in town on business and stayed at this property for 3 nights. Hotels are very limited in this area. We thoroughly enjoyed the property. The kitchen is up to date with nice new appliances. The back deck is great. 5 minute walk from the water. I’d highly recommend people book this property if you’re visiting Clinton.

Perfection
I have used VRBO for over 20 years. This sweet cottage comes in first place. My mother, sister and I spent 12 amazing days here while visiting with family in Connecticut. We enjoyed Hammonasset Beach - so impressive and accessible for handicap visitors. Wonderful meals at Lenny & Joes, Bills Seafood and Lobster Landing (5 min walk.) The best blessing was to come '"home" each night to this cozy cottage with top of the line pillows, bedding, soaps and towels. I am a cook and every tool I needed was in the galley kitchen. Dishes and cutlery were plentiful! My only regret was that I forgot to take my left over lobster roll from the fridge when I left. I hope I get to stay here again. Well done Jaime!!!

Great Little Cottage at the Shore
Jaime did an impeccable job updating this little New England Saltbox. Organic bedding, Pottery Barn bath towels and down pillows made us feel right at home. She really went the extra mile to make sure nothing was missing. Although we visitEd off-season, we were able to enjoy our time in Clinton and the proximity to other towns with leaf-peeping opportunities was terrific.

Great place and Great Location!
The place was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed. The deck was spacious and a great spot to sit back and have a glass of wine in the evening. The host Jamie was very helpful and had a list of all the places to eat nearby. Would totally stay here again!
