Upon checkin I was met with unfriendly staff , demanding a $50 cash deposit in addition to the rm costs. This was not stated on hotels.com app, when I expressed this and my concerns to the staff and that I was not carrying cash, he directed me to an atm an arms link away with a pricy surcharge in the lobby, most likely owned by the hotel owner in an effort to make $ off the very poorly kept and dirty facility. When I asked what the fee was for , j was told that since I had a non-smoking room this was to insure I did not smoke. I replied I did not smoke and would not pay this. After a few minutes of disputing the unadvertised cash deposit he relented and did not require it.
Then the rm was dirty, blood on the sheets, hair and dirt on the tile who know what on the carpet as it was dimly lit even with several lights on. The curtains would not fully close and the door and it’s frame did not meet and you could see through the cracks. The Wi-Fi did not work on my phone if my laptop was on. The tv had very few channels and had delays and disruptions in service. And to top it all off my vehicle was stolen from the parking lot - it was recovered but all the contents were swiped clean at an est. value of $200-300.
