We had a really nice stay at Poggio Del Drago!! Very peaceful location outside the city but Arezzo is easily accessible by car or bus. We did not have a car and Emanuele kindly picked us up from the train station which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great every morning, the rooms were clean and we always felt very safe. Beautiful views, would absolutely stay again!

If you’re looking for a true, off the beaten road, quiet Tuscany farmhouse-like experience, Poggio del Drago will meet your desire. The place is clean, simple, croissants and beverage breakfast… the owner speaks almost no English. He is charming, welcoming and very trustworthy. We got a parking ticket in Arezzo on a Saturday evening. We were leaving the next morning when all paying stations are closed. He offered to take of it Monday morning ( which required him driving 15 minutes into the city). We gave him the money plus a tip for handling the issue and he indeed contacted us to tell us all was taken care of. He gave us peace of mind which was priceless.

Beautifully restored country farmhouse on a hilltop with an olive orchard (and a swimming pool in season). Emanuele is a charming host who is eager to help and serves a lovely breakfast. Excellent and highly recommended!

An overnight in Tuscany.
Wonderful stay. Beautiful inn with a sunset over the olive trees. Gracious host who looked after our needs. A must for those looking for a quiet getaway in the heart of Tuscany.

A lovely spot some 10 miles out of Arezzo surrounded by olive groves. Lots of room for children to play and a very nice pool. Perfect place to use as a base to tour Arezzo and the region

Friendly relaxing B&B in beautiful countryside
Emanuel is a very welcoming and upbeat host who caters well at breakfast and then leaves you to your own devices for the rest of the day. Check-in and check-out were smooth and Emanuel even managed to sort out our toilet flush without getting a plumber in. The B&B is in a lovely location to use as a base to drive around Tuscany, or just to chill at the pool, but if you're after excitement and nightlife then this isn't the place for you. There are some great restaurants within a 10 minute drive.

A gem in the forest
Small B&B in a beautiful location, nice funky rooms. Was October so didn't get to enjoy the pool. This is a perfect place to spend a couple of days in peace and quiet. Owner was very nice.

Excellent little B&B with Pool
Excellent, clean B&B with a great pool and area for relaxing in the Tuscan sun. The grounds are well kept and the view from the pool area is fantastic. The B&B itself is a fair distance (Car definitely needed) away from any good eateries but does provide a good base to visit Tuscany while providing a comfortable location to relax on the days when exploring isn't on the agenda. Emanuele (the owner) is a friendly and attentive host and an all round nice guy. The breakfast provided is a typical Continental style breakfast which is sufficient for a B&B with only 5 rooms. The shared fridge (each room has a shelf) means you can store any additional food/drinks you may want to keep during your stay.

A 5 star B&B
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Poggio del Drago - Emanuele is a perfect host and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room itself was lovely - recently renovated and looking lovely. The pool is perfectly located, overlooking the olive groves and with plenty of loungers for all guests. Breakfast was great - a large breakfast table where all guests sat together and took breakfast - an array of sliced meats, cereals, and also a coffee machine to make yourself a cappuccino or latte.The B&B is perfectly positioned close to the A1, making day trips to various hill towns easy - even Florence was only an hour away. All in all - great value for money and we'd love to return again!

Nice Tuscany B&B Get-Away
Host was very friendly, helpful, and accomodating. The ambience was very nice...a perfect Tuscany B&B "feel" with a beautiful view. The rooms are modern with unique style. Breakfast was tasty.

Een fantastische plek met een geweldige gastheer. Het is rustig gelegen en een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor het ontdekken van Toscane, maar ook een fijne plek om de hele dag aan de rand van het zwembad tot rust te komen. We hebben ontzettend genoten en komen zeker terug :)

L’endroit est juste magnifique, loin du bruit des voitures, le propriétaire Emanuele est très serviable et joyeux 😁, son petit déjeuner superbe, la piscine parfaite pour se détendre car très peu de personnes en même temps (seulement 5 chambres pour louer). Merci Emanuele pour votre accueil !

Wir haben auf der Fahrt nach Süditalien dort übernachtet. Wir sind sehr spät angekommen, war kein Problem. Zimmer sehr hübsch eingerichtet, mit Liebe zum Detail. Das Frühstück war sehr schön präsentiert und war sehr gut. Etwas abseits gelegen, aber dafür sehr idyllisch.

Sono stato in questa struttura per trascorrere alcuni giorni di vacanza con mia moglie. A parte l'ultimo tratto di strada un pochino impervio (eravamo in moto) per il resto la struttura è molto bella. Piccola, raccolta ed accogliente. Si gode fin da subito di un grande senso di libertà grazie anche al rapporto con il proprietario che, a primo acchito, pare più un ospite che il titolare. La stanza assegnataci aveva anche un terzo letto ed era sufficientemente spaziosa. Arredata con gusto e tenuta con la dovuta cura. La posizione della struttura è abbastanza interessante con veduta sulla Val di Chiana (per noi che proveniamo da zone alpine niente di particolare) e soprattutto con un buon microclima che rende quasi superfluo l'utilizzo del climatizzatore in camera nonostante le giornate bollenti in cui abbiamo soggiornato. La piscina è tenuta bene e disponibile sin dal mattino. La colazione è un mix di dolce e saltato (ottimo il crudo appena tagliato!) e viene servita su un tavolo collocato al centro di un disimpegno comune dove si affacciano tutte le stanze così che ci si trova seduti fianco a fianco con gli altri ospiti (cosa che a me non crea particolari patemi ma per chi ha maggiore necessità di privacy potrebbe incontrare qualche problemino). Per farla breve, a noi il soggiorno è piaciuto molto e probabilmente ci torneremo l'anno prossimo.

Una sosta prima di capodanno
Con mia moglie siamo stati in questo B&B due giorni prima di Capodanno per una sola notte. Ospitale e molto pratico per visitare Arezzo, non troppo lontano dalla città ma in un posto tranquillissimo in campagna. La sistemazione degli ambienti è curata, semplice e molto recente. Un punto forte è la fantastica colazione per cominciare la giornata!

Eccellente, da ritornarci appena possibile
Struttura asolutamente consigliabile, casa appena ristrutturata, splendida posizione e vista, con molto gusto, pulitissima, con tutti i comfort, il proprietario molto disponibile, davvero contenti al 100% della permanenza. Unico piccolissimo lato negartivi, volendo proprio cercare il pelo nell'uovo è che in linea d'aria il poggio, seppur molto in alto, non è molto distante dalla strada principale per cui nel silenzio della sera in lontananza si sente il romore suffuso del traffico. Che però non è un fastidio essendo molto tenue e in compenso rende il posto ottimo come collocazione strategicamente.

Wat een rust in deze prachtige B&B in een deel van Toscane dat nog niet door toeristen wordt overspoeld. Genoten van het zwembad, 's avonds heerlijk gegeten in Le Cantine, een restaurant dat door de eigenaar was aanbevolen en zelfs voor ons werd gereserveerd. Ontbijt super, prijs aan de hoge kant. Ietwat moeilijk te vinden met TomTom.
