First of all, do not fall for the picture, there is NO view of the sea. Second, the reception is far from the rooms. The whole town is on a hill and the hotel rooms are up spiral stairs, so beware if you did not pack lightly, there is no elevator and no help (for free from the hotel).
The manager/owner was completely awful to me when I inquired about my reservation being for 2 twin beds, which was not what we got. She kept telling me hotels.com did not confirm with her and made it seem like it was my fault. She then got a friend who spoke better English and then they talked about us in Italian in front of us.
The room was extremely small. We barely had room to lay out suitcases, let alone move around.
All that being said, we visited all 5 villages of Cinque Terre using the train day pass and Riomaggiore was my favorite, so I would recommend staying in the town, just not at this hotel!! Lots of great little restaurants and gelato places. Bar Zorza was our favorite spot. There are plenty others.
So Riomaggiore = PERFECT!!
Apartamente e Camere Edi = TERRIBLE!
