We loved everything about Le Meridian. The bed and room was so comfortable with everything you could think of for a good night's sleep. The pool was sensational and such a great place to unwind with a drink after a morning of sightseeing. The staff were eexceptional. ..nothing was too much trouble. They booked buses for us and even in such a big hotel..always remembered who we were. Location was great; a short tuk tuk or hotel shuttle ride into Chiang Rai. Breakfast buffet was inexpensive and great! For those wanting to eat locally there are a few options within a short walk. All in all a fabulous five star stay!
This hotel was nice enough great pool, was winter coming into spring over there at the time but still not too cold, the weren't many guests either just the odd coach over nighters leaving early in the morning, my only fault with the place was the bed was rather hard, nice and big but hard all the same. I'd give the place 3 out of 5 easy
This is a fabulous place to spend a relaxed night or weekend or week. Everything about it is peaceful and tranquil, and healthy for your mind and body. It's a fabulous place to spend a honeymoon, or just a relaxed peaceful stay with a special friend.
What an amazing, magical place. It is 5 star on all counts, but most importantly the hotel staff is exceptional - warm, friendly, and very engaging. There is not a single detail that is overlooked and they treat you as if you are the only guest. And for an all inclusive resort the food is 5 star as well. There is not a bad room - though I liked that ours didn't overlook the pool - but the pool is beautiful and would not spoil your view. VIP arrival and Dining by Design are well worth the extra cost. I booked this for my husbands 45th birthday and it was one of our best family vacation memories yet. All of the excursions we did were wonderful but we fell in love with the elephants and especially loved the mahout experience. No matter what you choose you get to see elephants every day and be around them - it is a wonderful, amazing experience. If you can afford it, book it, you will not be sorry.
For the price and difficulty booking a room at this hotel, I expected more. The staff was nice, the room was adequate, but smelled very musty or moldy, and the arrangement was awkward. The pool was nice and clean and refreshing, the views out over the river are great. The food in the restaurant was good, but not fabulous. It is a bit of a walk in to town, but we did it rather than book a car or tuk-tuk.
The hotel offers spacious accommodations to both international and domestic guests in an atmosphere of total relaxation. All …More
