“Nice price, great breakfast, outdoor pool - I'd reconsider”

This hotel was fairly low-priced, but there was only an outdoor pool, which was completely ridiculous considering that this is in Wyoming! The hotel staff was very accomodating, and the continental breakfast was outstanding, but the beds were so hard, we all had headaches all weekend. Overall, the hotel was a 3 on a scale of 1 to 5, but I would not go back in the winter.

“location is everything”

Very convenient to I-25 & I-80; down side is the near-by RailRoad

“Would stay again but only if price is right”

The price of the hotel was reasonable and they offered a low cost shuttle to Frontier Days events which was nice. However, the bathroom was not as clean as I would have liked as there were several hairs of various kinds there were not ours in it. We'd stay here again but only if the price is right.

“Breakfast bummer”

It really was an OK hotel. We went to it knowing that it wasn't going to be a 5star experience, but we wanted clean/comfortable...and that it was. The only thing that i feel was below standards for a La Quinta, was the continental breakfast. The only hot item was the waffles, not even scrambled eggs. and red delicious apples and oranges -- how about bananas?? We enjoyed our stay, but would of liked more for the breakfast. When we stayed at another La Quinta the next night, we did have ham and scrambled eggs.

“Never Again”

The clerk when we checked in must not have been having a good day...Actually, we wanted to change rooms to a king, or queen bed, (somehow we had 2 doubles) and she wouldn't hear of it. A Sunday night, (nobody there) and her attitude was not customer-friendly. Then our keys wouldn't work ANY of the outside doors, and her demeanor was, "I'm sorry-I must have not put enough time on it." Bath towels are REALLY THIN! The parking lot is full of holes, so beware. We would NOT give this particular La Quinta a thumbs up, and would NOT stay there again.

“internet? not so much.”

The place has wireless, as most do nowadays but reception didn't reach as far as my room. A deal breaker for me, had to go down to the lobby to log on. Might be picky but to me decent internet is a must. There was nothing special about the place to make up for this lack.

“Typical LaQuinta”

Sheets a little thread bare, bathroom smelled a little dirty, everything from the carpet to the walls was dirty and had that wornout hotel look. Breakfast room was a disaster area and the coffee was empty.....typical La Quinta.

“Cleanliness an issue”

An official complaint was made re: poor cleanliness at hotel (i..e. stacks of dirty laundry in hallways for hours at a time, dirty room, etc.). The "new" management assured me they are addressing the problems they apparently inherited.

“Not Impressed”

Just saying it wasn't good .........dirty, hair all over the floor in the bathroom - reported it - didn't care.........breakfast......barely there....was the last place in town to get a room for a sold out weekend......knew it wasn't going to be pretty!
