“small room, great location”

was going to uva hospital. hotel only about 2 blocks away. room was small but comfortable and clean. felt very safe at this hotel. staff very friendly and helpful. location is what this hotel can really boast about. very near the old rustic central downtown. plenty of restaurants. has some street noise filtering through window. would go to this facility again.

“Great Place to stay with the family”

Our overall experience was just great! Very clean room, convenient to all the shopping & dining area's within downtown Charlottesville. I would highly recommend this hotel to families!

“charlottesville hampton inn”

The hotel room was neat and clean. The staff were courteous. The bathroom vanity is kind of awkwardly designed and very high for kids, they need a step stool to reach the sink.

“very convenient to UVa.”

Excellent location ---walking distance to UVa. Hotel has a free shuttle available to the Downtown Mall ---excellent shopping/strolling/dining. Very friendly, helpful staff. Continental breakfast is pretty good ---great way to get food/drink on way out in the morning. Would definitely recommend.

Must see
Monticello is beautiful, but you definitely need to reserve tickets to see the house interior online. Otherwise, you will only see the outdoor premises.

“comfortable and clean”

this hotel was comfortable and clean and a great place for a larger family. It is difficult to find a hotel that will let 5 people stay in a room. There was plenty of room and the staff was very helpful when we had a request.
