We had a great stay here in the historic district. You could walk to many restaurants and shops. The hotel even gave us a list of restaurants listed by walking distance which was very helpful.

Place is in a great location if you are interested in the Historic District. Overall the hotel and staff are nice. Breakfast was free and ok. They do have a pool which is decent but would be nice if they had a hot tub too. I got a King Suite and it was pretty nice, even had a small kitchen which I didn't use other than the fridge. The visitors center is only a block away and from there you can get information about the area, bus rides and tours. There are 3 local loop busses that are free you can take to the market, waterfront, downtown, etc. Going home I took the route 11 bus to the airport and it only cost me $1 since I'm over 55. King Street is only a block away and there is lots of restuarants and shops. I was there on a weekend in April and King Street was really jumping. Next time I am in Charleston I will probably stay here again.

The room great over all. The downside was that the second floor of the garage was immediately outside our windows. The view was all license plates at eye level. The staff was great overall but with one exception. The lady at the front desk acted like we were thieves trying to steal towels. She told us to return the towels to her in a garbage bag. Plenty of hotels have towels available near the pool, a spot to return them, and don’t treat their guests as criminals. It really left a bad impression.

The hotel was lovely and easily accessible to everything. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok but understaffed (like everywhere these days.) Everyone was friendly. Would definitely stay there again.
