“November”
Spacious room and attractively decorated. Covered garage out of the weather.
“Absolutely Fabulous!”
The room was clean and cozy, the staff extremely friendly and helpful, and its location provides a wonderful ocean view. We are planning on making the Elizabeth Street Inn our "go-to" hotel anytime we are on the Oregon Coast.
“Very comfortable stay”
There was seafood chowder at 5pm, hot cookies at 8pm and a complete hot breakfast in the morning. However, the most impressive thing about this hotel was the cheerfulness and friendliness of all the staff.
“We will be back!!”
All of the staff were friendly. They're working on remodeling but it didn't interfere with our stay. We never had a chance to try the Salmon Chowder but the fresh baked cookies at 8:pm every night were great!! Our gas fireplace didn't work but maintenance did their best to fix it but couldn't since it was on the weekend. They offered us a different room but we chose not to change rooms. It didn't ruin our experience at all because the room was quite comfortable and who could complain with an ocean view and balcony. We will definitely stay there again.
“Best Kept Little Secret In Newport, OR!”
Although our stay at the Elizabeth Street Inn was breif, (would have been longer had I known better!), it was perfect! We were greated by the most curtious staff. We were givin a delicious salmon chowder in the lobby! The oceanview we had from our room with the balcony allowed us to wrap ourselves in the robes they provided, watch the sun set outside, and then retreated to our fireplace in the room! It was so romantic! Later in the evening they served fresh baked cookies too! My only complaint was that the coverings for the bed were a little light. I was freezing in the early morning hours and just didn't know there were extra blankets were available to us. On my next stay in Newport Oregan, I will grab that extra blanket!
“Wonderfully located, clean, great views!”
This hotel is wonderfully located with perfect ocean views! The room was clean, the staff was great, and even the car had a great ocean view with covered parking.
“Awesome!”
Excellent - my out of town guests were very impressed! The view, breakfast, hot cookies, and salmon chowder were fantastic! Thanks!
“Lovely hotel right on the beach!”
What a hidden gem. Very spacious rooms, wonderful views. Left our patio doors open all night so we could hear the sound of the waves. Lulled us to sleep perfectly and the fresh smell of the sea was just what we needed after a few days in the mountains. Staff were very helpful, rooms were clean. All in all, a happy stay.
“Impressed with the ocean view from our room.”
We enjoyed our stay very much. The switch on the gas fireplace wouldn't allow us to shut it down. I went downstairs to discuss our problem and by the time I got back to our room a maintenance man had already came in and shut the pilot light off. Pretty quick, huh!. Everything else was great, even the covered parking.
“Wonderful Vacation”
The staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a wondrful view! It was within walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was a nice touch. My husband and I will return before summer is over.
