Walked into a room that had dirty sheets and towels everywhere. It clearly had not been cleaned. Then got moved to their last room that was a smoking room. It also had clear packing tape as the bathroom threshold. Pretty gross. Found a potato on the floor. For real.

I have stayed here quite a bit the past 3 months and the staff are excellent. Always friendly, professional and accommodating. That said there are multiple rooms that need maintenance. A/C units not working or cooling properly, TV's not working and it is disturbing to me as a single woman staying by herself the number of rooms where the windows have broken and torn screens and do not lock. I have asked many times staying there for a brace to block a window shut. I expect more for a room running me almost $100 a stay. The last stay I had there they were experiencing a problem with the fire alarm system and it kept going off periodically all through out the night.

The room was in need of repairs, worn carpet, broken floor tiles, and holes in the bath room door to name a few. At night the outside of the building was totally dark, the manager told us she would try to reset the lights but they were never on.

Television did not work, the phone in the room did not work, the room had a very uncomfortable bed and the staff said she would tell the on coming shift about the condition of room rather than contact the manager/owner to get my room discounted before I check out in the morning, this was such an unpleasant experience , I could not rest good in the bed and had no television to watch I should be and want to be compensated for my troubles and inconveniences.

There was a pair of dirty boxers on the floor by the bed. There was a picture hanging on the wall with broken glass. The toilet paper holder was broken. The room was dirty. The stairs to get to my room we're covered in crackers or chips and was still there when we left the next day

SMELL OF SMOKE!!!
If you are sensitive to the smell of smoke DO NOT STAY HERE!!! My boyfriend has asthma and 10 minutes into check in he was not feeling well. We tried 2 different rooms on opposite sides and different floors and still it was overwhelming. Had to go to another hotel.

On Hotel.com I accidently requested a smoking room. On same day of booking, Hotel.com contacted hotel and changed to a non smoking, due to my asthma. When I arrived, I had a smoking room. Could not stay the 3 days. After one night I had to leave. Room had been clean and staff goes over and above to help. BUT they could not change my room because they were full.

Dirty, smelly and bugs
Rooms were not well taken care of. Floors were dirty, bathtub was stained and there were bugs. My daughter was placed in a smoking room and the stench was so bad you couldn’t be in there. Her room had to be moved. We needed cribs but the entire hotel only had one and didn’t have sheets for it. There are not a lot of options in Ventral City, but avoid this one.

Not a bad place to stay
Place is old and a little run down. Smell of drugs was strong but the place was clean, comfortable and for the price not bad at all. Breakfast in the morning was the best breakfast we have had at a hotel and the stay was great. If they renovated this hotel it would easily be the best hotel we have ever stayed at and we stay at hotels A LOT! Not a bad experience but not the best

Nice hotel
It started off rough. Was charged for my room by the hotel after I had already paid hotels.com. But they fixed it so all ended good. The kid was new.

Needs a elevator
It would have been better if there was an elevator. I was given a room in the second floor and had several bags to carry. I had to make multiple trips because I had surgery on my shoulder. Was difficult going up and down the stairs with luggage and other bags.

The hotel is convenient to the hiway , gas, and restaurants. Bad , when I first pulled up 2 drunk men were roaming the lot, one started banging on my window. It was dark. I pulled to the front under the canopy and dashed inside the hotel. The desk. Called the police, I gave my statement and 2 men were arrested. That hotel clerk cared but I think she quit.
