Booked two nights as base for exploring WWII-related sites. Handy location, clean, comfortable and spacious rooms plus friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended. Walkable to train station and restaurants: Ristorante Cassino on Largo Dante is superb for good, cheap food and attentive service.

No lobby area to sit in with Tv etc , reminded me of a bedsit. . No parking car got baldy scratched parking where night porter suggested to park . One key for two people . No information on surrounding area places to visit local map. clients staying hotel from US weren't given any indication where local bus stop to visit Montecassinio Owner said we hadn't paid bill showed we had then she ran down the stairs to say we hadn't again very embarrassing.

Good evening,it rarely happens, but as usual no customer signs in full..Problems always arise after the departure.When they stay all right, then the defects...Why not talk about it directly? It's easy to write without looking at the other person's face.Why don't you talk about the price paid?? I don't want to dwell on the rest so as not to fall into the pathetic...I want to close here ... the important thing is to have approval from many other people ...Good life...

Lovely Stay.
Lovely Family hotel. We had a lovely stay. It was clean and staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. We particularly enjoyed the very large balcony with table and seating.

Cassino Visit
The hotel was clean and the air conditioning worked good on very hot days. We stayed two nights in order to take the WW2 tour.

Cassino
The hotel staff are so friendly and kind. We showed up late one evening and the man at the front desk befriended our little 4 year old (greatly needed after a 6 hour drive). Breakfast was great.

Top hotel in Cassino, Italy
Our stay in Cassino was at the end of our trip. Hotel Piazza Marconi was a perfect place as the staff, our rooms and location was absolutely great!

Nice Stop Over Hotel.
Not much to look at from outside but good location and OK breakfast. Aircon worked well, which was important as 35C outside.

The hotel just seemed tired. Asked for a twin room w/balcony, recd a twin room without. We were moved to a king with balcony, so my 15 yo grandson and I had to share a bed. Not the end of the world, but definitely not my preference. And I was charged an extra 10€. Second person on duty at th reception spoke no English. Towels left wanting. Linens in bed were great. All in all, I expected more.

Good evening Mrs. Laug Lorraine Marianne, first, it could also sign with the name and not put anonymous, you have to put your face when you express an opinion. His reservation was for a standard room and he wanted one with the balcony paying only 10.00 euros .. If the second person at the reception didn't speak English, why didn't she speak Italian? He had to say about everything ... Did he not find anything to his liking? Luckily the other guests don't think like you ... The person who does not speak English is responding. This person had to answer in Italian, but he understood that she could have problems understanding, which she did not understand with him. I wish you a delightful summer ... TONY.

After a very long journey, it was a pleasure to be greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. All aspects of the hotel were spotless, the room was inviting, very clean, with a very comfortable bed. An excellent breakfast was served. Although this hotel was in the middle of the town, inside the hotel was quiet and noise from the street was not a problem. Also, there was parking available for hotel guests with cars in a locked parking area. If we were ever in this area again, we would be delighted to stay at the Marconi hotel. Hotel in centre of town
Convenient situation, it would be a good 10 minute walk though. Breakfast typical Italian and generous, with fresh cornettos, fruit, yoghurt cake cheese etc. I had a guide for Battle Field and Abbey, Anna Priora, who I would highly recommend and prices sensible. Not much happening in Cassino. Found a good restaurant called La Cucina. Good food, reasonably priced and good ambience, one has to ignore the inevitable TV in background! The Abbey spectacular as were the views, war cemeteries very moving.

Good breakfast served in a nice room. The staff we met were friendly and helpful a couple spoke a good amount of English which was useful as we don't speak Italian.Maybe could have done with more than 1 pillow each but that is our preference and we didnt ask for more.Limited mini bar but fairly priced.

Good City Stay
We were warmly greeted by Ennio who very quickly checked us in, showed us our room and took us to the private car park. He also gave us good information about the area and how to get to various places. Nothing was too much bother. What a great start and host. The room was cleaning and very adequate for our needs. Breakfast was the traditional continental type and suited us perfectly. The hotel itself is well sited for all the attractions of Cassini and there are plenty of restaurants and bars close by. All in all an hotel to be recommended for a city stay.

Great weekend getaway
Very nice hotel with very nice and most helpful staff. Breakfast ended rather early (0930), but the staff was provided "self-help' room service. Centrally located with shopping, clubs, coffee shops, grocery stores and lots of restaurants within walking distance. Room with a terrace is a must! We spent two great afternoons on our balcony tasting the the local wines and snacking on the local cheeses and olives in the comfort of our balcony. Don't leave without visiting the Abbey and the Polish and British military cemeteries.

The hotel is located a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the train station. It is close to the WW2 museum and closer to the bus terminal for the bus up to the Abbey. The hotel breakfast was good and staff gave directions to the great restaurant for dinner. The room was quiet but on a fairly busy square.

Great location in downtown, most vibrant area.
Authentic restaurant ( La Cantina) frequented by the locals with incredible value for price is just around the corner. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Enzo who staffed the front desk during the day while we were there was very helpful and spoke very good English. Personal touch is their specialty.

Unexpected little diamond in the heart of Cassino
This fabulous boutique hotel was an unexpected find in the heart of Cassino. The room was large and immaculate. The staff were very courteous,friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice was extensive in Continental style and produce was fresh and/or bio. We have nothing but the highest praise for this establishment.

Flight was delayed and traffic delayed our arrival. Staff waited hours for us to arrive. Thanks very much. Loved the entire area of Cassino - felt we were in a true Italian village. Stores close for the siesta hour, hear the church bells ringing, walk to local restaurants, outdoor market.

Good value for money - large quiet room, good AC and view of the Abbey from the window. We were accommodated with an early breakfast which was appreciated. Only negative was a problem with water leakage from the shower/bath.

great for a tour of Montecassino
A one night stay prior to a half day tour of Montecassino. The hotel is modest, although the rooms are large by Italian standards, close to a standard American hotel. The staff was very friendly, comfortable in English, although I speak Italian. Parking was easy when we arrived Sunday afternoon. I think it might be more of a challenge for someone coming during the week. Even Sunday evening the area was pretty well parked up Cassino is not a place I would stay for long. But a great choice if you're going to tour Mntecassino, which you should.

Cassino battle in WW2 trip
2 night trip to tour the battlefiled sites in the area. great hotel, better than expected for the price. Great room, big and airy, nicely decorated.Good location, although only a small town, short walk to train station. Lovely staff - would happliy recommend it

Modern boutique hotel in middle of Cassino town
This is a small boutique hotel tucked in amongst some retail shops. This makes it a little harder to find as the signage is minimal and few street numbers exist (the Garmin GPS supplied by Avis had the hotel at least 100m away from the actual location which was not helpful with the one way streets). The rooms are nicely appointed and the one we had had a balcony looking down on the busy street. Free parking is actually on street parking so you are reliant on finding an available car park near by. Fortunately we located one not too far away but later arrivals may find it more difficult. Staff were very welcoming.

Great value hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Central position in Cassino it was ideal for us visiting family. Large room and good facilities. Only critism was that the bed was too hard for us therefore uncomfortable.

Great Hotel in the center of Cassino
The train to Cassino, from Roma Termini takes 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, we walked, to our hotel, from the train station dragging two roller bags. During my walk, local residents were exceptional in helping me With direction and even went out their way to walk me to the hotel. The hotel was very nicely furnished and extremely clean. When I opened our room door I was shocked to see a U. S. sized room with a king bed and nicely decorated. The hotel was exactly in the center of town and all the locals were out each night strolling and talking and made us more than welcome to their town. Restaurants are nearby. Abbey of Monte Cassino can be seen atop a hill nearby and is taxi ride away but there is not much else to do in town except enjoy the locals. Staff, I met were Tony, Ennio and Anna. They met and exceeded anything I could expect. Breakfast was typically European continental.

Delightful hotel in Cassino
this is a wonderful hotel, located in town and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was the perfect end to our Italy vacation.
