Disapointed
We booked and paid for the room for two nights but after the first night decided not to stay. Unless you have other options, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Clearly VRBO does NOT have standards or checks out the location before allowing it to be posted on their site.

So... we our reservation was worthless. With a reservation in hand, on our anniversary, they rented the place out from under us earlier that day. We were charged, and had to go through a process to get reimbursed. Not the way you want to spend your anniversary. The owner was kind... But very disorganized.

Not good
This place is a collection of tiny cabins/motels all crammed together right on the Highway. We didn’t receive any check-in information, so I went to the “office” area, which was strangely locked. The front desk person would come over and let each individual in and then the lock the door behind them - always a good sign. The cabin itself was clean and nice enough- definitely a tiny house feel and pretty cramped for our family of 5. The worst part was the horrible smell when we opened the door. Like someone had been smoking in there and they used some heavy duty chemicals to try to clean the smell away, or like it had been fumigated or something. Everyone noticed it right away, even my husband who normally doesn’t notice stuff like that. I went to the front desk to ask if we could move to a different unit and the guys answer was that it doesn’t smell, he was in there earlier. Okay. We had to sleep with all the windows open to get the smell out, which meant we heard all the neighbors late into the night. Everyone woke up with sore throats and coughs from breathing the fumes all night. If you don’t want to get sick, don’t stay here. Bad service, crappy location.

The cabin itself was decent. Small, but decent and served the purpose I needed better than a basic motel room. I didn't like that it was literally in the middle of a trailer park and that I had to park partially in the driveway, but if you're not worried about your surroundings, it was just fine. It was well equipped, close enough to walk to multiple food / coffee options, and the area as a whole was super charming. Mostly, I just didn't like being situated in the middle of a trailer park.
