Our stay was awesome the inn is under construction but it didn't bother us the part that we stayed in was not near any of the noise. the restaurant was beautiful the staff were perfect they treated everyone like family . the rooms were wonderful roomy and very clean i can't wait to go back just a great place.

Price is very high for a basic room, but I guess everything is high up in your area now. Room was nice enough and the restaurant was great. I miss the pool and hot tub. Not sure what the game plan is for all of that.

Hotel is older and in the process of renovation. The room was fine for sleeping. Nothing fancy. It is a bit of a time machine as there are still designated smoking rooms and when you walk through that hallway, it takes you back to the 70's.

It was a great place to stay. Rooms are dated but clean. It looks like they are renovating, front lobby looks really nice so far. Perhaps the rooms will be fine as well. Great staff and service.

The bathtub kept getting clogged. The staff in the front was not friendly. The housekeeping staff was great and very accommodating. The restaurant staff was great, cheerful, and very nice. Food was OK, mac & cheese tested off, but the fried apps were good. Wished it would have had a microwave in the room. I'm sure once they are done with the reno it will be awesome.

It's definitely not what it looked like in that picture. It was under renovation and we weren't told. We had a room on the second floor, my husband has cancer and i just about had to carry him upstairs. there were no handrails and tools and equipment were scattered all over the floor and stairs which was a fire hazard if you ask me. I complained and it was cleaned up the next day. The owners were very accommodating as they gave us a room on the first floor; I thank them for that. Also, I know there is a lot of snow up in Caribou but trying to get in and out of the hotel was horrible. I would hate to think if there was a fire. The rooms were comfortable and I liked the fact that there was a restaurant right at the hotel. Being that my husband is sick, it was convenient for us just to be able to eat there.

Always have a great stay at the Caribou in i have been going there a few times a year for over 10 years . Very friendly and helpful, right off the snowmobile trail.👍

It is advertised with a pool and the pool is permanently closed. I chose this hotel because of the location and the pool.

Pool and hot tub closed 3 years!!!
Very old rundown building with musty smell throughout. Was told the pool and hot tub facilities were closed . When I expressed my dismay I requested a room upgrade and was told it would be a charge not an accommodation. I was then told the pool and hot tube have been closed for 3 years!!!! The website photos clearly advertised the facilities in use so that I would consider false advertising. As a family that was a deciding factor and the cost of upgrade could have provided the type of accommodations expected elsewhere. $200 wasted.

Staff was very nice. Pool is broken and is a beautiful part of hotel. Just incredible how pool makes up the center of hotel. It will be a great asset when it’s back in service. A very nice hotel to stay at in a quiet area.

Their website is still advertising pool and hot tub, they have been out of order for years. They need to update their website. False advertising. The pool table had no 8 ball and 1 cue stick.

The hotel was not what I was expecting. They put me in a smoking room when i reserved a nonsmoking room. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. The walls and celing were stained with smoke. 2 lights in the room did not work. The shower head was loose and wouod not stay upright. The floor rugs and a sticky feeling to it. There were gueats that were there for exteneded stay that partied out back all day saturday with load music and drinking.

When we booked, said indoor pool and restaurant, pool has been closed for 2 years, will be a very nice area when it reopens, restaurant closed Sunday night and Monday, rooms comfortable

It was very clean. We had a problem with the AC and they promptly and happily moved us to a new room. The restaurant was amazing! Dinner was absolutely delicious! The Gouda chicken and Aroostook chicken were to die for! We also had breakfast Sunday morning and again it did not disappoint!
