We're all very pleased that your experience was somewhat positive. Eating out is very subjective. We did check back with you whilst you were eating and your response was positive, no issues were raised by yourself or your partner regarding your food at that point. You did mention that the steak was 'salty' when Stuart, your server went to collect your empty plates. Stuart apologised and fed your observation back to the kitchen, our steaks are seasoned. No mention of a 'dry' Kiev though. Our inn is circa 150 years old, the rooms aren't large or purpose built but the walls are very solid (the dimensions of our smallest double and twin are clearly stated in our room descriptions on all of our booking platforms). To maximise guest comfort we chose King size beds as opposed to doubles, whilst some floor space is sacrificed, we felt the enhanced benefit of a larger bed with great quality bedding would be a sacrifice worth making. After all, most of the time spent in your room, in a bed and breakfast, hotel or inn, is in bed. We are situated in beautiful Usk, a quiet, rural, small town, we have no car park although, there is a free public car park a minutes’ walk away.
