The hotel requires money spending on it, information needs to be provided on restaurants opening and closing times. Restaurant closed at 7:45pm even though a green king chain. Sign of the times as reception not manned but a number is provided for you to call.

Good but a little dated
The hotel is looking a little dated and the rooms could do with a paint. However the staff a really friendly and very helpful. The pub attached to the hotel was good.

Great Staff - Tired Premises - Food Disappointing
Can I start by saying the female staff are amazing, we had a warm welcome from Anna on reception and that continued during our 3 night stay, Lynne who served us breakfast was also fantastic. The rooms and restaurant could door with updating and during our stay there were problems in the kitchen, so the food was not really any good, long waits for food and one night they even forgot my order. Wine Wednesday "offer" also not good as you only had a choice of Rose'. This said, I would stay here again, but that's more down to the welcome we received from Anna & Lynne.

Room was ok, slightly small, and comfy. Dining room very run down, needs a complete make over. Very few staff to cope with amount of customer's., food was rubbish im afraid, half of what we ordered was not available and this ruined our stay. We would not stay again or recommend Dining there

Take note rooms are very small. Our room was quite dirty, surfaces dusty & dinks stains. Toenail cuttings on the floor. Ran out of food no Sunday roasts on Sunday available.

Tte rooms were tidy .not the cleanest around the edges over the tv paint started to bubble not major. Room 33 Friendly staff . The restaurant seats ripped not good

Would definitely stay again.
Employees and manager are super friendly. It was a very easy check-in and the room was very clean and comfortable. The attached restaurant had a wide variety of food that was very delicious.

Excellent stay, was visiting friends and was recommended to stay here and indeed it was excellent. The breakfast was not be missed, also eat in the hotel and food again was excellent. The room was to a high standard. I will stay there again.

Could have been better!
We went there for a business trip to Celtic Manor. Card reader was not working so Business Credit Card declined. They then raised invoices to be paid at later date. Associated pub had limited breakfast menu with items missing and no alternatives to vegan/vegetarian options. Pub beers were out of stock too. Rooms were modern and clean. This was our second visit in 3 years, the first being great. Hopefully this is a one-off.
