I have been to Daniel Webster Inn & Spa on several occasions. I really enjoy the positive interaction with the staff. They are friendly and very knowledgeable about the Inn and the surrounding areas.

Beautiful, old fashion hotel. We loved the dining with excellent wine selections ( 22 years and up old and beautifully cellared !) The service was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The best crab cakes and mussel dishes ever! Bravo chef. We love also very atmospheric Tavern with fire place dining area. The garden atrium dining with the view at garden and pond fish was also so beautiful specially for brunch. Excellent old fashion New England experience.

I had my wedding reception here over 40 years ago and this is the first time I have visited the Dan’l Webster Inn since then. The night time staff were outstanding. They immediately greeted me. I was impressed with the customer service and attention to detail. The parking is free and on the premises. It’s close to the rooms. I did order room service and the food was delicious. It didn’t take that long to get my food. They even call you as they are delivering your food. The rooms were very clean and offered the usual, shampoo, and other toiletries. The bed was nice and comfortable. The downside is that the walls are very thin and I could hear the tv in the room next door. I could hear what the person was saying on the tv. The tv wasn’t that loud either, it's just located right behind the headboard of the bed. You do get free wi-fi but it is on an unsecured network. I was really surprised by this. All-in-all it was a fun stay and I do recommend staying there.

Great and comfortable stsy
Very relaxing, great for staying in. There is a spa in a back, bar and restaurant options inside as well as a gift shop. There is no indoor pool or gym. If you are handicapped or have trouble with stairs make sure to book a room in the first floor as there is no elevator. Hotel is from the 1600s There are gluten free options for those interested.

The Dan'l Webster Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The dining room is very picturesque. The staff was extremely helpful, and very friendly. The gift shop is a favorite of ours every time we visit. We highly recommend visiting the Dan'l Webster Inn in Sandwich MA.

I used to live right down the street. This is my first time staying here. I was in town to visit family. The waitress staff in the solarium was so slow my first day of arriving… But I got up and left the table and went into the bar and had lunch. all the staff seem to have a little bit of an attitude like I was bothering them if I asked a question. It was a young man that was the bartender tonight and he was very nice. Also, the woman in the gift shop was very sweet. other than that, not really happy with the staff.

Unfortunately, they were doing work on the room next to us and we were woken up a little before 7 am to power tools drilling, this noise went on all morning. The stay was very disappointing. They obviously do not respect their guests enough to allow this disruption. We will not be staying here again.

Property is stunning, staff is courteous and accommodating. The furniture in the rooms was gorgeous but the bed was insanely uncomfortable. A four poster queen bed with no supporting rails or center support, just the exterior square frame. It sagged horribly in the middle and we woke up with sore backs and legs from being stuck in the pit. The website said the pool was closed seasonally but nothing about the hot tub, which was a huge draw for us and a decision making feature for our stay, imagine our surprise when the hot tub was also closed! We wanted nothing more than to sit in a hot tub after sleeping in an uncomfortable bed and walking around a faire all day and no tub. The walls were pretty thin in the rooms we could hear our neighbors morning alarms go off, hear them coughing, hear their showers go on and off and their toilets flush. The person above us stomped around like an elephant, but we were already awake so not a big deal. Gorgeous property, beautiful rooms and furniture, amazing staff, unfortunately not so comfortable a stay.

Great Cape Hotel
We had a wonderful experience at the Daniel Webster Inn.Our room was upgraded from a queen bed to a suite complete with a balcony and a hot tub! Highly recommended with a beautiful lounge and full restaurant.

The inn needs to be updated. Too expensive to stay there for what it is. They didn’t even clean the room each day. Ridiculous. Definitely used to be so much nicer. Needs severe updates. Old and tired looking.

Would be nice if front desk would bring water to the room upon request instead of having guests go through the rain to get it. Also maid service should be offered daily. Also waiting for a table for 30 minutes when you’re a guest at the hotel and there are several empty tables is absurd.
