“Excellent standard has not changed since we last stayed”
We stayed here three times previously and hoped it would still be as good, as we haven't stayed for 3 years.It is excellent-quality of food in restaurant is superb as are cheerful,friendly staff.Not for children as no activities,but this makes it even better for couples or 'singles'Bus to Palma stops outside and takes 20 mins.Beach 10 mins away and small,but views across Bay are magnificent.
“OK if you're not an active wheelchair user - who wishes to use facilities.”
The Hotel was typical 4 star - however I had asked for a wheelchair accessible hotel and room. This Hotel is not ideal for a disabled guest who wishes to make use of hotel facilities. I was unable to use the spa, indoor pool and gym - due to steps leading down to these areas. This was a let down as I had been looking forward to relaxing in these places and also keeping fit. The hotel has one disabled room - which was not offered to me. However it was offered to another guest wheelchair user who arrived a few days after me. Therefore I did not feel too favourable about the quality of service towards me. I was also told that I would have a room with a king size bed - but was allocated a room with two single beds. The room itself was clean - there was a TV and mini bar. There were french door and balcony which faces the sea and outdoor pool area - which was a really lovely to have and a high-light of the hotel room. I had bed and breakfast and increased to halfboard once I checked in. The food was plentiful - however I found it bland in flavour (OK to fill a hole?). On one occasion I saw a baby cockroach crawling around the dessert counter - which I promptly notified staff about.
“An Outstanding Hotel with Excellent Service”
Very warm welcome with complimentary drink. Room not as requested, (high floor with sea view), but after first day we given a better room. Hotel extremely clean and staff couldn't do enough for you. Secure parking 100 yards from the hotel. As we had a car, we didn't try the local restaurants. Small cove below the hotel provided excellent swimming with the fishes and the occasional cormorant. Food service to suit most people being not particularly spanish in style. Would be happy to go back and probably will.

Was there last week in August, very quiet, no dancing or much evening entertainment, but to be honest we are not really into that. We dined out in eve. some really stunning beach restaurants further down hill. Beautiful pool, overlooking sea, some lovely coves nearby. Staff really friendly apart from one grumpy drinks waiter! Lovely relaxing hotel in a quiet location, would go there again.

We were in the main part of the hotel overlooking the pool/sea, beautiful. The room was spacious, king bed, quiet and clean. Breakfast was a good spread (coffee a little disappointing but this was a small point). Staff friendly and helpful, brilliant English. Location exclusive and bus to Palma right outside hotel entrance. I would recommend to anyone.

Wir kennen das Hotel vom letzten Jahr und waren da schon so zufrieden, dass wir dieses Jahr gezielt wieder dieses Hotel gebucht haben. Riu steht für guten Service und sehr gutem Personal. Was für uns auch wichtig ist, sind die Zimmer und die Betten. Auch hier können wir dieses Hotel nur weiter empfehlen. Sollte etwas fehlen oder nicht in Ordnung sein, wird dieses umgehend gebracht oder repariert. Hier hatten wir Urlaub von Anfang an!

Das Hotel bietet einen angemessenen Komfort und das Frühstücksbuffet bot eine gute Auswahl.
“Het Bonanza Playa hotel is een aanrader !”
Voor het tweede keer achtereen volgende jaar waren wij eind juli in dit hotel. De ligging van het hotel,direkt aan het water met een schitterend uitzicht over zee is bijzonder. Het enorme terras rond het zwembad heeft veel ligstoelen.Het enige minpuntje vonden wij dat de gasten vaak al s'morgens vroeg een ligstoel claimden door er een handdoek op te leggen. Dat mocht niet maar de badmeester ondernam geen actie. In het hoogseizoen moet je om de reden dan wel eens even zoeken naar een stoel. Met de bus, die voor het hotel stopt, heb je als je naar de stad wil, makkelijk en goedkoop vervoer naar Palma. Wat ons weer opviel is de enorme inzet van het personeel om het de gasten zoveel mogelijk naar de zin te maken. Het is een groot hotel maar de benadering is persoonlijk..De bufetten waar wij eigenlijk nooit zo van houden, waren ook uitstekend. Er was veel keus zowel voor vlees en vis liefhebbers als voor vegetariers. Kortom wij gingen uitgerust en tevreden weg met in ons achterhoofd het plan om nog eens terug te komen.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr schön, das Hotel selbst hat einen etwas veralteten Charme, der freundliche Service im gesamten Hotelbereich ist außergewöhnlich. Das Restaurant bietet eine gute, leckere Auswahl.
