“Loved our room”

We got a suite on the club floor with a great view. The room was very nice clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the club lounge was very good with much to choose from including eggs and sausage. We tried Culvers....it was very good but I think I got food poisoning from my lamb that wasn't cooked enough '( my husband enjoyed his filet .

“Good hotel for family”

15 minutes from downtown but there are shops, restaurants and shopping mall within walking distance. Kids love the swimming pool with 2 huge water slides!

“Great hotel in a so-so part of town”

Hotel exterior looks pretty old, but inside it is very nice. It has been newly renovated this year and the room was like brand new. Very comfy bed and workspace was good. Internet is not free but cost was reasonable. Service is excellent and the steakhouse was top notch. It is located close to the airport and a shuttle ride is about 15 mins. The area it is located is is quite a distance from downtown, but there are many good restaurants located nearby.

“Fun for the whole familly”

We stayed at this hotel on Sept 23, 2011 and really enjoyed it. The rooms have been upgraded since our last visit and have the look and feel of a new hotel. The waterslides were great. The staff always helpfull. We requested some extra towels and they were delivered right away. Beds are some of the most comfortable I have encountered in a hotel. We will be back.

“reno a must”

If you stay at the Sheraton make sure your room is on a floor that has been renovated...we were originally put in a second floor NON renovated room and it was terrible...no shower curtain, black mold around the entry door and sprinkler system, blood/ketchup? on the wall. I asked to be moved and they we very courteous and has us moved immediately, there was no comparison. Second floor probably a 2 star versus the fifth floor being a 4 star. The pool was nice and warm although could use some updating. Nice and close to the Deerfoot Trail making it very accessible to what we needed. We would stay there again.

Area recommendations

Calgary Zoo a must if you have kids and if you're shopping go to Chinook Center, it's a beautiful mall with some great stores.

“Very Nice Hotel”

This was a very nice clean hotel. The staff was very helpful to all my concerns and questions. There is a restaurant Carvers which is very good and not too pricey. Nice swimming pool with a slide, a hit with kids. The weight room was not that impressive according to my son. My only complaint is that the doors to the roomare not very sound proof. You hear everything that goes on in the hall, not that it was noisy but you could hear people talking in the hall.
