Dear guest thank you for your stay, just to be clear on the towels issue. Towels are changed daily. However we can not enter a room with a no disturb sign. Moreover at 5:00 PM housekeeping pass by all the rooms for fresh towels, again they can not knock on rooms with a no disturb sign. Regarding transportation we are in the middle of new cairo infront of the American university public transportation, taxis and ubers are in abundance. We also provide private transportation at the hotel through our limousine service. If there was any miscommunication from our side we profoundly apologise for it and looking forward to greet you again at NewCity.

We are sorry you did not have a good experience at NEWCITY which is very rare. We assume since you are a long term guest that this is not the usual experience you usually have. Since this is an ANONYMOUS review with noway to trace the complain (suite no, dates etc) our response will unfortunately be general. Our mattresses are of top quality (imported from Germany) and of medium firmness, we are assuming you are referring to mattress firmness, we understand that some guests prefer very soft or very hard mattresses or pillows, which we have readily available upon request. Sometimes changing suites is a bit difficult though we usually try our best to accomodate our guests requests, as sometimes we are fully booked. All our cleaning supplies are odourless. It is a standard hotel policy We wish we knew more info so we could address issues. We are more than welcome to call us and we will do our best to resolve all your issues in the future. We would like to assure you we at NewCity pride ourselves known for our world class service.

Dear Maged, we just renovated the entire hotel only last March. I have personally gone through the suite you stayed in and honestly couldn’t find any problems. We are taking your complain very seriously. If you could spare few moments to get in touch with us either by email or phone we would highly appreciate it, as we can’t find the source of your complain. As explained to you several times at check in. You have booked the wrong room. You were charged the rate of the correct room. You checked with Expedia who confirmed what we said. We were given the choice to kindly asked cancel the reservation free of charge if the rate was not suitable. You declined and said you understood the reservation mistake you have done. We are not sure where we have gone wrong.

Thank you. Please note wifi issue is a country wide problem and not specified to newcity. We rely on sim cards for internet. When consumed you will need to recharge the package. I am sorry but there is noway around it at least till now. Dusty roads are also something beyond our immediate control. We always try our best to deliver an excellent service which will always be limited to the country infrastructure.
