The building facade is in a very poor state covered in grime and mold. Surrounding buildings are in much better shape. It was a discouraging first impression. The floors were sticky. The washing machine was rusty. There was mold on the bedroom blinds. We were allowed one small white towel per person, per week!! Absolutely bizarre towel policy. The area and the views were lovely.

Property right on esplanade,fantastic sea views from large balcony,pool was lovely,included BBQ area all well maintained.property a bit dated,but for the time spent in it wasnt a concern. If you have your own transport,all good,but,if not,it will cost you in Uber/taxi fares. Not a lot of shops,3 cafes only,& beach tavern,excellent food.nice vibe in area.

A bit hot on warm days
In general lovely. Clean, pleasant decor. However, - western sun pours in for many hours making appartment uncomfortable on warm days. - our bed slid out from back wall. Tiled floor added to that problem.

Great location across from the beach, close to shops, excellent views, plenty of space. Kitchen had all the facilities you could want. Only minor issue was that the loungeroom got a bit warm with the A/C temperature not able to be changed.

I liked being on the water front and on a dead end street. The pool was very nice since we didn't venture into the ocean due to jelly stingers and not having a stinger suit to wear. Nice restaurants nearby. The room was nice and large. Needed some extra towels. Communication was lacking on arrival because we didn't have a phone or internet the day we arrived and we didn't get their instructions so there was no one in the office to greet us even though we arrived before 6. Once that was settled everyone was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. If I owned the place I would freshen it up a bit. The hallways going to the rooms are dark and musty smelling but once in the room things are much better. The place is a bit dated but all in all it was a very nice place to stay. Good location, firm beds, air conditioning, and friendly staff.

Relaxed break on beach front
Very clean and comfortable slightly older beach apartment. Although the odd facility, i.e. pool spa, was awaiting maintenance these minor issues did not distract from the overall good experience of value.

great for a family vacation
We had a great time staying at Trinity Waters. The apartment was spacious and well equipped, the location was amazing and the ocean view from the apartment was stunning. The pool is nice and not too cold. There was a nice garden up the back, but it had a funny smell, so did not spend time there. The smell also came in through the back windows, so had to keep those closed too. But that wasn't a problem since there is a ceiling fan and air conditioning in each of the rooms. We did have to pay 1$ to rent each pool towel, but were given nice a big ones, so we were ok with that. The reception is not in the building of Trinity waters so that was a bit confusing at first, but once we realized were it was (just two buildings down) it was not a problem. Also to get in and out of the complex, you need a key, so we had a bit a challenge coordinating the schedule between the 7 people (4 adults, 3 children) staying in the apartment... Overall it was great place for us and is highly recommended for a family vacation.

Thank you Yaela we are delighted you enjoyed your stay. We will investigate the smell, perhaps it may have been a plant or animal. Pool towels are charged $1 just to cover washing and drying of them. I can understand the challenge of the keys, it allows for only guests to enter the complex, we only have 2 sets to hand out but do have spare for emergencies. The apartment we had had a wonderful balcony area which looked out over the beach. Trinity Beach is a relaxing spot with all you need in walking distance. The apartment was very spacious and we wished we could have stayed longest

Fabulous view, very comfortable stay
We (2 adults, 2 teenagers) stayed for 2 nights, super comfortable apartment, very spacious, clean and very well appointed. Amazing view of the beach opposite, easy walk to restaurants. Would love to stay again in winter when it's safer to swim in the ocean, otherwise stinger suits required in Jan when we stayed.

Stunning views and all the comforts of home!
A really lovely and comfortable apartment with absolutely stunning views! Conveniently located for tour pick-ups, right next to the beach with a lifeguard and a netted swimming area just across the road. The surrounding area was quiet, and as there are only a few apartments so was the pool! There’s a lovely little restaurant right next door and a shop a short walk away so we had everything we needed close by. The check in process was really simple despite us leaving it to the last minute to let them know we’d be arriving after the reception closed!

Had a great stay at Trinity Beach in Cairns Australia. Very nice apartment with all that you need for a self contained holiday. I found the VRBO site misleading when I booked as I didn't know that I was being charged in USD until after I committed to the booking. I then tried to make contact and still have not heard back. However the staff on the ground at Trinity Beach where amazing, friendly, informatitive and helpful.

Pretty setting and lovely roomy apartment
The apartment was lovely and the position amazing. The only problem was the lower than expected level of cleanliness and the scanty coffee and tea provided. Also it was not serviced while we were there for 3 nights.

Huge 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment on beautiful beach. This apartment had everything your could possibly think of in the kitchen but we did have trouble using the light above the cooktop.

The apartments at Trinity Waters are self contained apartments, that is to say we provide you with a starter pack to get you going on your first day, and then you have to source your supplies after that. Linen and towels are changed after 7 nights and a complementary service is also provided at that point. Full laundry and drying equipment is provided. The self contained apartment model is very common in Queensland and proves very popular with people that want to relax and not be bothered by hotel staff every day. Beautiful view
Beautiful views from a spacious apartment. Nice and close to the water and easy to get to the swimming net at the beach. Not a good spot for Telstra network coverage however and the room wifi was troublesome most of the time. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor space. We would happily stay here again one day.

Lovely apartment, next to the beach
We arrived later than planned but a key was in the safe, which the manager had messaged the code to once we arrived. The lift was very handy, with the cases. Apartment was very well equipped and quite large. We could have cooked up a storm in the kitchen. Nice big fridge for the beer and food. The two bathrooms were handy. The free WiFi was very good as mobile reception is terrible. We always find this at Trinity beach, we have been told its because of the hill. You almost have to hang off the balcony with the mobile. The outdoor setting and sun loungers on the balcony are lovely. Perfect for a breakfast or evening drink. We will stay again. Keep this review under wraps or everyone will want to stay here :-)

Spacious and great location!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in our 2 bedroom unit with large balcony on 2nd floor directly overlooking beautiful Trinity Beach! The unit is very spacious, comfortable and has a large kitchen with all necessary things. My mother needed the elevator due to her health & it helped make it a comfortable holiday for her. I would always come back & highly recommend it!

Fantastic location
Apartment 7 was very large with 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The balcony was huge with a great view straight across the road to the beach. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and the furniture throughout the apartment was lovely, real home away from home. The pool, although small was a highlight with it's small spa. The complex is across from a patrolled beach and 100m from the stinger net and lifesaver hut. While the decor is a little dated, it really didn't take away from our enjoyment of the stay. There is secure undercover parking, which you need at the beach as the public parking is always full. You check-in at a neighbouring property as there is no management on site.

Lovely for a family
We love this place. It used to be our absolute favourite when it had a live-in manager but is now managed from another property nearby, which means that all the little things need extra organisation (no one there for check-in, ironing board but no iron, etc.) but apart from that is still fantastic value and a real pleasure for a family holiday.

The apartment block was a disaster & the managers
We rented a 3 bed apartment for 5 adults at Trinity Waters Apartments (TWA), managed by “On the Beach” (OTB). Issues FRIDGE: Is faulty and didn’t get food cold or freeze in the freezer – it took two days to chill and freeze things. We contacted Melissa at On the Beach (OTB) who blamed us for always opening the door which didn’t allow the fridge to get cold. Not the case – it is a faulty fridge that simply doesn’t work efficiently. When we spoke with another person at OTB they mentioned that THEY KNEW the same fridge had previously had a problem and when leaving the unit we told the cleaners – but they already knew that the fridge in unit 8 PREVIOUSLY DIDN’T WORK PROPERLY as they had heard of several complaints. SIMPLY NOT AN ACCEPTABLE PRACTICE. FAULTY BBQ: We wanted to have a BBQ and took the food and gear downstairs but the BBQ IS FAULTY and doesn’t work. So we had to find an emergency BBQ on the beachfront and carry our food etc. Not the pleasant pool-side BBQ that the website promotes. FAULTY INTERCOM: So someone has to come down to let you in the building. HEATED POOL: The only heat was in the website advertisement - the pool was sun heated. UNSTABLE BEDS DISHWASHER SHORTAGE OF TEA SPOONS IMPOLITE SERVICE BY MANAGER OF OTB POOR COMMUNICATION NOISY INADEQUATE SERVICE IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU BOOK A 3 BEDROOM APARTMENT? (You can get better but I doubt that you can get worse).
