Solo getaway
Fantastic holiday. Citysider in Cairns had everything that I needed. Handy to shopping centre and the esplanade. Lovely balcony to sit and relax. Clean accommodation and very helpful management. I look forward to return maybe next year.

Nice, comfy stay
Nice clean spacious room. Kids loved the pool close to shopping centres excellent location. Good to hear and see the train go by.

Suited the purpose
Suited our purpose for a good price. It is off the main stretch, but we were doing tours the whole time we were there. It was clean and equipped. Couldn’t get the dishwasher to work, but Mike checked it after we left and said it was, so perhaps some instructions would help. It’s neat the train tracks, but I don’t recall hearing a train during our stay.

The staff was really friendly... We enjoyed our stay... It was a great two bedroom apartment. The only thing that could be better would be the sofas in the living room... They were not that comfortable. However everything else was comfortable including the beds

This is an excellent place to stay if you wish to relax in great surroundings. The units are well equipped with everything you need make all your meals. do your laundry and make yourself at home. We highly recommend the Citysider Cains.

Location was good, although a bit of a walk to the Esplanade. Great for self drivers, each unit has an onsite parking space. Well kept gardens. Plenty of windows and unit well aired. Rooms have air conditioning. Kitchen facilities good, however would have preferred mugs to cups. Friendly staff. Enjoyable stay.

Family stay for 2 weeks
(1) The washing machine and dryer in the room is best appreciated as we are staying with two young kids. Laundry can be very inconvenient with public washing machine/ dryer. (2) 20min distance from train station/ shopping centre/ Muddy's playground is great. However, a bit far from Lagoon... (30min walk is a lot for kids esp after they have exhausted their energy in the pool) - Taxi back cost ~$9. (3) very friendly and helpful staff (4) quiet and secure environment

No need to go anywhere for booking of activities
Can book all tours and adventures through the front office and they will get you the best deal so no need to find a booking office and very helpful and friendly.

Our apartments are ideal for families and people who have a car that like the large space of the self contained units and the quietness that our location provides in a tranquil setting. Our drapes are new and were placed in the units as a result of guests requesting full blockout curtains to keep the sun and light out of each unit. Regards CitySider Management

We really enjoyed our 4 nights stay in this hotel, in the 2 bedroom apartment option. The apartment was very spacious and there were plenty of cooking utensils for meals and even a washing machine/dryer. The owners were especially friendly and helped us with directions and hiring a car for our stay. The area is a little far from the CBD but very peaceful and quiet (we did not hear any trains). The only downside was the ants trailing into the kitchen, but I believe the owners would have worked out a solution if we had asked, we just didn't stay long enough for it to be a big issue. Would highly recommend.

Stayed a couple of nights. Nice room, decent facilities. Main thing to know is that you will end up walking 10-20 minutes to the core of downtown.

The apartment was clean, well equipt & roomy. A basic, adequate accommodation. A bit of a walk if most of your activities are out from the marina and you have tired children. Cabs about $12 one way otherwise. Managers are very helpful & friendly.

You need a run around car to get to your destination. .with the price you paid for hotel, you can afford to have a decent rent a car. ..the location of the hotel gets very noisy because of traffic nearby, aside from that every thing else is ok..

Initially not happy as our room was on 3rd floor and as we are elderly the stairs nearly killed us and the room also looked dirty. When we complained we were transferred to a ground floor unit which was very good.

We encourage guests to ask for a ground floor unit when they book so we can accommodate guests needs. Glad we could accommodate your request during your stay. It is disappointing to hear our rooms looked dirty as we have recently changed cleaning companies to ensure our rooms are presented to a very high cleaning standard. Please let management know during your stay so this can be addressed and rectified. Dirty rooms are not acceptable. The train is the beautiful historical train that drives to Kuranda and most guests especially children love watching it go by and waving to the passengers on board. Our apartments are close to Cairns Central Shopping Centre and a 15minute walk to Cairns CBD. Thanks again for your feedback.
