"Le lieu est très cocooning, le chalet agréable donne sur une très belle vue. Les accessoires de cuisine nécessiteraient un suivi. Quid de cet appareil avec compteur branché dans la cuisine dont nous n’avons pas obtenu la fonction auprès du propriétaire. Une caméra sur la terrasse.... Le point le plus gênant est l’enclavement du lieu qui nécessite de faire déjà 30’ de voiture sur une très belle mais très petite route avant de rejoindre un grand axe."

"Lodge located on edge of site, beautuful location, so quiet with great views over loch, enjoyed just chilling out taking in views and watching deer in garden, listening to bird song, lodge had everything we needed, really spacious with lots of light coming in through large windows, wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would love to go back"

"Just want we wanted nice and quiet lots of walks to do We did home work before left wicth I advice you do so not to be disappointed ( just do a good shop before going) although the local shop sells everything you need longs have the stock very nice owner Off the shop👌"

"We could not have been happier with this location. The view from the house is spectacular. You can sit for hours watching over the water and mountains. The house is very cute and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the common fire pit on a rainy night. Doug is very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We most certainly would return."

"Views are beautiful, house is comfortable but a little tired. The location and peace and quiet are fabulous, nearest supermarket is 50 minutes drive so come prepared. Perhaps some comfy chairs outside to sit and enjoy the view."

"We stayed at Cockleshell Lodge for 10 days in November and had a fabulous time. The lodge is right on the waters edge and we would have paid for the view alone. It is absolutely stunning. There are dog walks straight from the lodge and no need to get the car ut all around the Ballimore Estate and we met the "Lady of the House" who told us some interesting facts about the estate. The lodge itself is huge ! It has a great entrance with lots of space to leave muddy boots and coats etc. There are...

"Stunning location for a relaxing holiday. Spent a week here with 2 children (ages 6 and 2) and had a great time. Safe outdoor space for the children to play in and they loved feeding the owner's chickens nearby. 5 minute walk to a pebbled beach which was ideal for tiring them out in the evening. Lots to do locally and further afield in Oban. The cabin is clean, with everything you would need for a weeks stay."
