Very average stay
The room looked onto the street and was small and strangely configured, which meant that we could barely open our bags to unpack. Generally, the room was not that clean and was showing wear and tear (e.g. one wardrobe handle had fallen off and not been replaced). The AC was good - very powerful. The shower was small but fine. The breakfast was OK. Service wasn't great - we asked for help with a taxi boat leaving the island (for an early flight) and the chap at reception basically told us to go down to the pier because he couldn't help us. We wouldn't return.

We enjoyed our stay in Buyukada and the hotel. I have given a low rating as it was too expensive for what we got. The property is tired in places and looks shabby and for the price we paid I would not expect that. The breakfast was adequate but could have fruit options added. Having said that we did have a great stay and slept well. We enjoyed the pool but this shut at 6 which was a bit early for us as it would have been good to have a swim and relax there after retuning from the beach. The island is beautiful

This is a great cozy place to enjoy your stay in Buyukada, feels very comfy, the people around have positive vibes… it is clean and like a royal house aim to get the terrace or one of the rooms facing the pool.

A little disappointed, would maybe try again.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but I'd only cautiously recommend the hotel. It was off season and raining, so the pool wasn't available. I wish we could've been given a heads up, or offered a cheaper room, given we wouldn't make any use of the balcony. Future guests: I'd check with the hotel prior to booking to ensure you're getting the full experience. Other pieces of improvement: - The wifi was barely working in our room. - The refrigerator in our room was somehow hot (!) so we couldn't keep items cold. We ended up keeping items in the balcony. - We couldn't customize the temperature in the room. - The phone was dead, so we could not contact the front desk or dial restaurants in the area. - The breakfast was a little bit of a letdown. Instant coffee, no water available. What I did like about the hotel was that it was quiet, conveniently located, and I'm sure a magnificent place to stay during warmer seasons.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Buyukada and I have stayed at a few. I really love how this hotel is quite to the city center, yet is on a clean and quite part of the neighborhood. This location gives you the best of both world's you are at the quite area of Nizam which has all the mansions and very quiet and serene place .. yet it is very close from all the shops, restaurants and the buzzy area around the harbor. I loved the whitish vibe of this place and the overall area. It feels very cheerful and matches what I expect from a vacation destination.

The hotel had a homely welcoming atmosphere and swimming pool was wonderful. It would have been nice to be able to get more information about the Island from the staff.

Arkadaşlarımla gittim, benim kaldığım odanın neyazık ki yatağı çok eskiydi zannediyorum ki ben rahat uyuyamadım, ama arkadaşlarımın hepsi rahat uyuduklarını söyledi. Genel anlamda trmiz, güzel bir oteldi.

Tired rooms, lovely pool
I feel in two minds about this place, the pool (apart from terrible music) and outside facade were lovely and it was an easy amble to the centre for restaurants etc. The rooms however were tired, furniture and woodwork was tatty and scuffed and the pillows were lumpy. Our first room the aircon was broken but staff provided us with a fan and moved us the very next morning to a new room....where the fridge was broken. I think they would have sorted this if I’d kicked up a fuss but they were all so lovely I didn’t bother. The WiFi worked ok most of the time. Overall having the pool was a trade off for the room, not many hotels have a pool on the island.

This is a villa turned into the hotel is very small hotel. Good to stay one or at most 2 nights only. Expedia photos are misleading, no any beaches anywhere close by. Shame on Expedia for posting fake beach photos on their hotel depiction. To get to the beach it needs to walk to the sea port and take boat trip to the paid beaches starts from TL50 ($10) per person for entry. Hotel staff are nice.

We stayed 2 nights and they never came and cleaned the room or made the bed. Breakfast was included but it was very basic and unhealthy, so we ended up going out for breakfast instead.

We came at 1am checkin was great, the room great and big and clean, the bed is comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing. Pay 10$ more but enjoy your night... The only bad thing that happened with us is when we called them before booking to ask them something on the phone, it was the last room and the total was 53$ on Expedia, they asked us when you want to book and we said today, when we hanged up the phone to continue our booking and put the credit card number the room was 5$ more expensive. So make sure not to call them or tell them when you are coming and be careful in the islands people can rip you off easily, they took for 2 minutes ride on the horse 110 lira because we were very tired walking and we needed to come back just half way, and we did a reasearche after and we found out that the ride of all the island cost some people about 50 lira so be careful, also we paid the bicycle shop for a full day for 2 bikes and we came back after 1 hour and we told him that we don't want anymore so he didn't refund us the total and he started yelling, Most of turkish people they only see you money...

Good stay (odd breakfast confusion)
Nicely decorated building, lovely outdoor seating area. Was off-season but staying there as a couple was very enjoyable. One confusing thing was as we stayed there for 4 nights and were delighted to find we had a buffet breakfast on the first morning. On the second morning we didn’t have a buffet breakfast and a kind of “platter” was handed to us which was very dissatisfying and confusing. Wondered if it was the staff’s choice. On the last two days it was back to buffet which was great but suffered breakfast anxiety not knowing what we would find and with the two options being so different. So don’t know what was going on there. But overall it was great and the staff were friendly and kind.

I stayed two times at Buyukada before this one. This one was most clean one, normally you couldn't expect this room from an island hotel. We were so lucky too, I had a reservation for a standart room but they give me a deluxe room, it was so kind! I'm so glad to see their happy faces. I hope I will stay here again, see you :)

It is a clean very functional hotel.
This is a clean functional hotel that is very close to the small town that has restaurants and other tourist facilities. The Turkish breakfast was nice with tea being served. At this time of the year it was very quiet.

Jakuzi’de su akıtma problemi vardı. Odanın bir kısmı ıslandığı için odanın yarısı ıslak kalıyordu. Ayrıca otel terlikleri çok kötü ve kaygan olduğu için kayıp düşüyorduk. Bunun dışında ekstra istediğimiz terlik ve battaniye için yardımcı oldular.

İmkanlar harika, hizmet iyileştirilmeli
Otelin binası, konumu, olanakları şahane. Ölü sezonda gittiğimiz için de huzurlu, sakin bir tatil geçirdik. Sıcak su küvetli odada kaldık, genişlik, olanaklar, balkon, manzara çok iyiydi. Ancak temizlik konusunda aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim. Küvet iyi temizlenmemişti - ki bu odada en önem verilmesi gereken şey. Odanın yerleri de benzer şekilde. Kahvaltıda ise seçenekler kısıtlıydı, maliyeti pek değiştirmeden misafirleri daha memnun edecek bir kahvaltı sunmak mümkün diye düşünüyoruz.

Otel temiz ve güzeldi konum olarak iskeleye 5-6 dk yürüme mesafesinde. fakat şöyle bir eleştirim olacak 8:30 /10:30 kahvaltı saati 9:55 gibi kahvaltıya indik filtre kahve bitmişti kahvaltı saatinin bitmesine 35 dk vardı bence uzun bir süre sorduğumuzda tekrar demlenmeyeceğini ilettiler bence personel bu konuda uyarılmalı . Tekrar gidermiyim evet giderim .

Öncelikle Murat Beye ilgi ve alakalasından dolayı teşekkür ederim. Reservasyon yaptırdığımız internet sitesiyle alakalı sıkıntı yaşamamıza rağmen memnuniyetimiz için ellerinden geleni yaptılar. Kahvaltı için ilgilenen çalışan gayet güleryüzlüydü, kahvaltı fena değildi. Odalar gayet temiz ve bakımlıydı. Bu sakin zamanlarında adaya kaçtığımızda kesinlikle uğrak noktamız olacak.

Güzel bir konaklamaydı oda temizdi personel ilgiliydi. Kahvaltı gayet yeterli ve güzeldi. Hayvansever bir işletme. Sadece odaların ısıtılmasıyla ilgili bir sorun olduğunu söyleyebilirim. Otele girdiğimizde oda soğuktu ve kalorifer akşam saatlerinde yakıldı. Pek ısınamadık. Jakuzi çok keyifliydi.
