“Good Value”
The Seacloud Hotel is right opposite the Haeundae Beach in Busan. While the location is nice, this area is quite some distance from the centre of Busan, and a long way from the airport. However, there is an "Airport Limousine" (bus) stop right opposite at Novotel, and taxis are plentiful. The room was satisfactory in size, but gave an impression, rightly or wrongly, of being just a little grubby, and we found an old and very stiff towel on top of the bathroom vanity, (out of sight from all but the tallest). The shower arrangement over the bath was messy, and a little cramped. However, the hotel was good value, and we would stay there again.
“Perfect rooms and good english speakers”
This place had everything you need and if you didn't it was available nearby. Eg Lively bars and other restaurants. The VIPS restaurant within the building was overpriced I thought and the rooms wouldn't want to be any more expensive but overall very fair. Cleanliness was impeccible and I will never forget how comfortable the beds were. The cooking facilities they said we had were actually not available. We didnt use them but they should update their website. The pool was clean and well organised with friendly staff. Very satisfied
“Good view and that is about it”
Hotel staff were not friendly and did not bother to greet customers. They simply asked for documents or credit cards. The hotel room was clean but did not look anything like any of the pictures. When I tried to asked for beach towels to walk to the beach 1 block away, the hotel refused to give any accommodations. Since the pool was closed for maintenance, none of the guest were able to take advantage of the facilities. This hotel provides two things, a nice view of the water and easy access to the beach. Unfortunately, that is about it.
“Great Hotel/Apartment”
We stayed 2 nights at the Seacloud and thouroughly enjoyed it. We had a partial seaview, which was still good. The room itself was large and very modern. Our special requests were responded too which was great. Only down side was that the internet was not free in the room. The hotel itself is close to the Subway station (maybe 10 minutes walk) and very close to the Airport Limousine bus stop and Busan Tour Bus stop it made getting around very easy. We would definitely stay there again.
“Highlight of the trip”
Let me just say that over a ten-day trip throughout Korea, staying in 5 different hotels, this was the only room we took pictures of. For the same price as all the mediocre hotels, this one was gorgeous. It had a huge room with large kitchenette and a sitting room, stylish dark wood furnishings and a modern bathroom. It also had a great location, right on the beach and boardwalk, near lots of bars for the late night pub crawl and not too far from the subway station. I highly recommend this affordable luxury. We wish we could have stayed more than just two nights.
“Great Hotel, great location!”
This was a fairly nice boutique hotel. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely with white bedding and dark hardwood flooring. Very contemporary. The bathroom was a bit small and kind of floating in the room, but not so bad to make the stay uncomfortable. It's not a luxurious hotel, but it is nice and worth the money paid. The staff speaks fairly good English and there is a Wine Bar in the hotel. The pool is in a rooftop setting and makes for a great experience in this high rise establishment. There is a western breakfast buffet that is a bit overpriced for the selection, but if you're looking for coffee, bacon and eggs, they've got it. Overall, I have no complaints, this was a nice hotel. The location is perfect- right across from the main drag of Haeundae Beach and right around the corner from all the night hot spots, restaurants, the subway station, and Haeundae Market.
“Probably never go there again”
This large hotel is located close to Haeundae beach, but too far away from the city center and other sights. Five people at the reception were not able to name five interesting places to go - because they don't speak English and don't know the city well. Despite the room was very big, it was very dark and had not enough lights in the night. Furthermore, I found some blood stains on my bed sheets which ultimately made my stay very unpleasant. Additionally an extra of 12 USD for 1 day Internet is not current any more. A trip to the city center takes around 1 hour 30 minutes by metro and between 30 to 60 minutes by taxi depending on traffic.
