"We gambled on NB to view an April eclipse and were not disappointed. Elizabeth and Mike were terrific hosts - they greeted us when we arrived and were responsive when we had questions. The location on the Miramichi river is stunning, even through an April blizzard, and walking the river edge at low tide was a treat. The entryway to the upper suite is small and could use some coat hooks and boot rack but a few small usability issues did not deter from a great week. We would definitely return (but...

"The staff were amazing, very easy check in and check out, rooms were clean and comfortable, property is awesome .. great views and easily accessible. The only reason for 4 star for facilities is that when i took my son swimming i wanted to relax in the hot tub, it had so much organic matter built-up on walls and it it looked like someone poured bubble bath in it. Besides that everything was excellent!"

"We had a wonderful stay!!! Very beautiful and amazingly affordable!! Only thing that wasn’t perfect was the water warning, which absolutely isn’t the hotels fault! However, there was a boil advisory for any food washing or teeth brushing water, and there was no way to boil water in our room. Other than that it was an amazing stay, and we would come here again in a heartbeat! "

Unfortunately the Inn was under renovations and we couldn’t stay for the full period of our reservation due to the dust. Would recommend it for a special stay but only once renos are completed.
