I stayed for one night travelling down to Lyon. Lovely place to stay. Fairly priced. Great surroundings.

An over all pleasant stay
The location was amazing and the hosts very friendly and helpful . Both my husband and I are in our seventies and the bathing facilities were rather awkward for us . There was a large bath with just a hand held shower , which made bathing difficult especially as I had injured my arm a week before . Just somewhere to hook up the shower would have made it easier for us , plus not spraying water all over bathroom floor . We had our dog with us and she was made very welcome too

The best place in France
This is literally the best place I have ever stayed in. It was perfect from top to bottom. Beautiful room, amazing area, stunning views, delicious breakfast. The best owners on the planet. We will certainly come back as soon as possible!

Lodges Lao is worth a stay
We have stayed at Lodges Lao quite a few times now and each and every time are made to feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble.

Beautiful setting, extra friendly hosts and wine!
The hosts were so very nice and helpful and the location was lovely. A great place for a group of friends to take over and enjoy. Also, great wines close by and of course yummy food.

Magnificent Lodges
Beautiful, unusual and very comfortable room, delicious breakfast in hall, lovely dog and a lot of Thanks to Sonia and her husband for their attention and care. Really recommended spent more 2-3 days in this place, take a routes around Rhone-Loire valley and enjoy from views, wines, food and the people with whom you will meet

Very friendly and very welcoming. Arrived without having made any eating arrangements, but they fed us well. Imaginatively decorated in a very tranquil setting, for which we did not have the time to enjoy to the full.

Out of the beaten path but worth it
Better use a gps to find the place, but if you want something that is located near a quaint french village with a view overlooking hills and vineyards, this is your place! The rooms are sufficiently well appointed, and it is supremely quiet. The couple owning and managing the place are true hosts and will try hard to make you happy. Breakfast with fresh breads and croissants that are both excellent is complemented with house made jams , honey that tastes like honey (people from the USA, you most likely never had it..) and the same can be said from the butter or local cheeses offered. Note that the hosts are trilingual English/ Spanish/ French so no worries about communication.

Helt fantastiskt bed and breakfast som ligger på en höjd i en liten by med vinodlingar intill knuten. Trevlig värdinna, superb frukost med ostar, charkuterier, yoghurt mm Kan verkligen rekommendera detta!

Au pays des pierres dorées
Après avoir traversé des paysages charmants (vignes, collines, villages, petites routes sinueuses et désertes), nous sommes arrivés à une belle maison de caractère. L'accueil fut amical et efficace. Nous avions nos petites filles américaines avec nous, elles ont été enchantées. Nous aussi.

Heel leuke kamer (wood) wel niet geschikt voor grote mensen, aangezien een groot stuk van de kamer een verlaagd plafond heeft. Heel hartelijk ontvangst en erg lekker eten

Un grand merci à Sonia pour son accueil très, très sympathique. Tout était parfait pendant ces trois jours. En plus, le village est très beau et l'hôtel est dans un cadre enchanteur. Merveilleux !!! Bâtiments dans le style local, parc très agréable avec une vue magnifique. Petit déjeuner très convivial avec des produits locaux ou faits "maison". On reviendra sûrement ! Je joins une photo de l'hôtel, en pleine nature... et une vue des Monts du Lyonnais depuis le parc. Bisou à la petite Mary-Lou....

The owners are fantastic very kind, to my surprise both do speak very good english (my monther tongue is french). Breakfast in or outside. We were late but they were able to book a restaurant not easy on Friday night.

Prettig verblijf, vriendelijke eigenaren, goede kamer met prima bed. Als we in de buurt nog eens moeten overnachten komen we zeker terug. Enig minpunt, houten verdiepingsvloer waardoor het stampen van boven te horen was.

Etablissement sélectionné un peu au hasard suite à une pénurie d'hôtel sur Lyon, le Lodges Lao est une excellente surprise, accueil chaleureux, chambres confortables, spacieuses et décorées avec goût et originalité, excellent repas et petit déj copieux avec un choix important. Le tout dans un cadre atypique avec une superbe vue dans le jardin et un très bon rapport qualité prix - bref, un incontournable, bravo!
