Christmas getaway
I just fell in love with it when i saw it. It was so warm and cozy and loaded with amenities. It was very relaxing and peaceful. I was mou rning the loss of a sister this christmas so it was exactly what i needed. The hosts were very accommodating. It is also dog friendly which is a huge plus to find a nice place that accepts dogs! I look forward to booking again in the future.

Adorable place in the wiods
The drive to the place is a little “Deliverance” feeling but the place is adorable. The place was clean, modern, and well appointed. The beds were amazing! Everything was thought out for a great stay…full kitchen, beautiful bathroom, grill, fire pit, etc. Definitely recommend if you’re not afraid of driving in the country. Definitely not for someone that is scared of staying in the country as you are on back roads with no lights.

We had a great time staying here! It was just the right size for us - 2 adults and 4 kids aged 3-13. Beautiful location, well-stocked kitchen, and owners were very responsive to questions. Would absolutely stay here again!

Beautiful and Peaceful Getaway
We had a wonderful time here! The owners have thought of every detail to make this place a home away from home. From the comfy beds and pillows, the well stocked kitchen, streaming services, the outdoor patio to the absolutely gorgeous shower, it is a beautiful place to stay! Internet and phone service was spotty, but aside from that, I would highly recommend this place to everyone!

First Time GLAMPers
We are usually in a park setting up a tent so this form of luxury glamping was new for us, but just what we needed. Mountain Pies and baked potatoes at the fire ring, and added extras inside. My kids loved the yard and all the playhouse extras. Our hosts were responsive, inviting, and very helpful. We enjoyed Deer Diamond Park, Farmer's Inn, Pale Whale Canoe Fleet, and the Laurel Festival all in the 2.5 days of our stay. Thank you for a beautiful retreat.

Weekend getaway
We had a wonderful weekend getaway. The property was beautiful, the apartment was spacious yet cozy, and all instructions were clear and simple. The location was quiet and remote but convenient to everything we wanted or needed: Cook Forest hiking trails, Clarion County biking trails, as well as gas, grocery, restaurants, etc. The kids loved the beautiful sunsets and nighttime fires/S’mores. We enjoyed our interactions with the owner/family, and would love to stay again. We highly recommend!

Just a perfect getaway for us as a family. The hosts were incredibly responsive to any needs or wants we had - they went above and beyond. We hope we can come back someday. So "in the woods" and yet only 6 miles from town and a short distance to all that Books Forest offers!

Extraordinary stay
This property is wonderful in every way. What a well crafted and well designed rental with high end finishes and everything you could want including the extras which are a special treat on vacation . We spent daytimes hiking with our dogs at Clear Creek and Cook Forrest State Parks which were beautiful and evenings enjoying your rental inside or outside on the lovely porch or campfire. The hone was quiet and peaceful. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating. We will certainly plan to return and recommend this rental highly. Every detail has been careful considered and put into place. Thank you for sharing your property, Christy and Chad and Easton, plus it was a real pleasure meeting you!

The property and space are so beautifully taken care of. The owners are so wonderful. You will love the space- its cozy and peaceful. If going in winter you need four wheel drive. The roads in the general area are bad in icy conditions. We will be back....In warmer weather!

Awesome place!
Our family loves staying here! The place was immaculate, the boys loved having their own TV in their bedroom, and it was close to everything we needed to get to. The owners are fantastic, they are extremely accommodating. Definitely looking to stay here again in the future! Highly highly recommend?

Wonderful Stay
We enjoyed our stay! The property was amazing ! The inside of the property was so beautifully decorated, it made you feel right at home. It was clean and modern, yet themed with the woodsy decor. It was in a nice and quiet spot! We did see the hosts while we were out with our dog, they waved and seemed very friendly. They offered anything if we needed yet left us to enjoy the property! Would 100% stay here again.

Our family had a great weekend here!! Conveniently located near route 80. Excellent hiking trails within 30 minutes. Perfect for children...large chalkboard, kids toys, playground, and projector for family movies. The gas fire pit on porch was perfect to use intermittently throughout our stay. State of the art kitchen so i would recommend cooking in vs dining out. Bathroom is like a spa experience. Lots of parking.

Never Better
We are a family of 5 traveling from Chicago to New York for a weekend wedding. We had to stop on the way, so we picked this location. It is a very nice and clean house. The owner put a lot of thoughts into this building. The pictures cannot justify how nice the rooms are. We had a very relaxing time with 3 young kids aged under 5. My kids had fun playing around the house. The outdoor fire pit was the best part. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

Our stay at Hidingers in the Woods was wonderful. From the spacious living area, the kitchen with space to cook and the comfortable bed. And high on my list is the cleanliness; the place was spotless. Also, the fire pit area was an added plus. This place has all the comforts of home.

The place is COMFORTABLE, relaxing and just peaceful. We’re definitely going to take some of their decor ideas for our own place. We were close to hiking trails, a short drive from a brewery, and 10 minutes from downtown if we needed anything. The host was so kind, helpful, and kept in communication with us. Such a beautiful apartment and landscape. It was so relaxing to get away and into the woods. Lots of wonderful small touches throughout the place. Only wished it was a little warmer and less rainy so we could have enjoyed the fire pit outside. Highly recommend!

We were beyond impressed with this property. It was absolutely gorgeous, impeccably clean, and they thought of every detail and amenity we could possibly hope for. We had the most amazing weekend! It was our first weekend completely kid free in years, and we really enjoyed the freedom to let loose a bit and the chance to reconnect...but we plan to come back with our kids too! They would have loved it. This was a way better experience than any hotel or winery we have ever stayed at. We will absolutely be back. Do not hesitate to book this property!

Girls Getaway
A couple of my girlfriends and I planned a last-minute overnight getaway and were so happy with this little find. The owner had warm spiced cider awaiting us - and lit the fire pits for us to enjoy when we got back from exploring trails the night of our stay. The beds were so comfortable. The bathroom shower floor tiles were heated and heavenly. Had thought about getting a rustic cabin - but decided on these luxurious accommodations instead. Slept in comfort and then explored the great outdoors during the day. We loved our stay here! We will visit again.

Extremely nice place to stay. Very updated with walk in shower, soaking tub, full foam mattresses and gourmet kitchen. They even supply several amenities including food staples and toiletries. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful getting you anything and helping to provide ideas on things to do in the area. Strongly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at " In the woods with Hidingers. The rental was amazing with all the amenities. It was well secluded and quiet. The Hidingers were great hosts and on the final night set up a drive-in screen for our enjoyment. We will definitely be returning in the future.

We can't say enough about our amazing experience! Upon check-in, the apartment was spotless and fully stocked with everything we could need. The decor is both beautiful and practical for families. Christie and Chad went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for our kids, including an outdoor movie night, sparklers, and play area! There were lots of family friendly activities in the area, including hiking, swimming, horseback riding, biking, small zoo, and tasty treats! We are excited for our next visit!

It was so easy to communicate with any questions and they were more than accommodating going above and beyond to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. It’s the details
What makes this place was the details where they could have done less, but didn’t. Literally the softest sheets ever (btw, where did you get them, I want a set). The kitchen had everything that you could want. The bench in the shower was heated. There is a little Polaroid camera to add a selfie to the sign in book. The best communication with an owner that we’ve ever encountered. Really, no detail, however small was missed. Most rentals are set up for profit, this was set up with love. We will be looking for an excuse to rent again this summer to take advantage of the fire pit.
