Good location

Ideal location for if you are going to Colston Hall or the Hippodrome. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was stunning and they gave us 25% off the NCP carpark which is right behind the hotel

A place to stay.

Posted 17-Dec-2014
Pros: Handy for visiting or working in Bristol City. Free wifi throughout. Pre-booked room was very reasonable price..
Location: For a nice pint of beer, go to The Old Fish Market pub on the main street.
Stayed overnight on a business trip. Hotel is quiet and efficient and close to town. Stay in the Queen Charlotte St car park and get a 25% discount from the hotel.

Power Cut

Pros: The central location
Location: The location is great within easy walking distance of the city shops, bars, clubs and theatres
A very comfortable stay, apart from the early morning power cut and subsequent cold breakfast!

Modern, welcoming hotel near to city centre

Posted 02-Dec-2014
I only stayed at the hotel for one evening. The room was clean and had ample facilities. Staff were welcoming and friendly. I had not booked breakfast but this was available at a discounted price next day. I would stay again.

Mecure Hotel, Brigstow, Bristol

Posted 17-Nov-2014
Pros: Lovely room, nice bathroom, lots of space and tv in bathroom. Great view of the river.
Cons: Only earl grey tea bags and not enough milk but I am sure they would have sorted this out had we asked.
Location: very central to everything we wanted to see.
It was just one night away to see a show at the colston hall but we had a wonderful time.

My wife and I had a superb time in Bristol. The hotel was of an excellent standard. We would definitely recommend it to friends and would use this hotel again.

Location location

Posted 04-Nov-2014
You can't beat the location of this place. A 5 minute walk to the centre. Would deffenatly stay here again without a doubt. Only thing was the view couldn't see the river because of the foliage in the trees not the hotels fault at all.

Poor quality poor value for money

Posted 22-Oct-2014
Poor overall room quality, no air con stuffy hot room, uncomfortable bed and pillows, tired and dull room, slow rubbish shower. Breakfast ok but poor service so slow and the staff don't understand English. Parking a rip off they should tell you it's over £20 pounds a night to park. No river view as advertised to many trees in the way. Very noisy sirens going all night on route to hospital I think. This is a poor quality Mercure hotel.
