Good central location. Functional.

Functional hotel, not nice to look at but nice inside. Everything you'd expect from a big chain hotel. Close to Cabot circus , good for a weekend trip.

Very reasonably priced, excellent value for money. The room was spacious with everything you could possibly need. All of the staff were helpful and polite. Great stay, would recommend to anyone

Hotel review

Pros: The style. Comfortable and good looking room, with big windows and impressive view. And good shower.
All was ok apart from creepy door in room and poor choice of food, and no bible. And mirror was intimidating.

A bit of a bad experience checking in, first they couldn't find our booking? Then even though we had pre paid through expedia they said we had to pay again as our card was declined? Yeh right!! Found the beds very hard but that's personal preference! Very good location but for first experience it wasn't great!

Nice hotel right next to the shopping centre

Cons: change mattresses
There isn't a great deal to say about this hotel. It's in the centre and very close to cabot circus (I think its called). Rooms are nice, much nicer than some other 4* hotels I've stayed at. We didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on the meals (cabot circus upstairs has quite a few good chains like wagamama, giraffe, GBK, yo sushi etc). Only downside was the mattress, as others have commented, was very firm. Still got a good night sleep though.

Went out of the way to correct the problems faced

Posted 09-Jan-2014 on Hotels.com
Issues when checking in. Some rooms were old and run down, but they eventually got me a nice spacious room (3rd time lucky!). The bathroom was still tiny. Some problems with the other items, but the duty manager, Pietr, as soon as he learnt of them, went the extra mile to put everything right. I'm really grateful and as a result had a great stay. Good central location, reasonable rooms, basic lobby and amenities (not luxurious by any means), management that really cares and deserves a big thank you.

Convenient to all

The staff was very pleasant. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. I would have liked the ice machine to be in the middle of the hall rather than on the end. The room cleaning was minimal, no vacuuming and a stain of red wine left on a made bed, but not replaced duvet cover. Towels left on rack to indicate we didn 't need them changed were taken and replaced. Good buffet breakfast. Internet was poor, even the paid for option. I would stay here again.
