This beautiful detached lodge is located at the 18-hole Bridlington Links golf course, which also boasts an on-site à la carte restaurant (with views over the fairway to the sea), a gym and a picnic area, as well as mature woodland where the wild deer roam freely. No matter the weather, you are sure to feel warm as you relax amongst the bubbles in the hot tub out on the decking. The surrounding trees change with the seasons - blossoming in spring, bursting with vibrant green through the summer, displaying a kaleidoscope of ambers and browns in the autumn, and if you are lucky, they are etched with white frost or snow in winter. There is also a seating area and dining table so that you can enjoy al fresco meals together. Inside you are welcomed by a cosy and characterful interior. The living area is open plan, bright and spacious, making this perfect for socialising and unwinding together. The kitchen is well-equipped ready for creating hearty home-cooked meals to enjoy after a day of exploring. Both bedrooms are modern and beautifully presented, each with its own en-suite. There is also a sofa bed for flexible sleeping and a separate toilet. Being in such a tranquil location you can be assured of a peaceful night’s sleep.
This lodge is an ideal choice for both couples seeking a romantic break, or for families, as there are so many attractions nearby to delight everyone. Next door is Sewerby Hall, a wonderful stately home open to the public, with landscaped gardens, a children’s play area and zoo as well as a delightful café.
Sycamore Lodge is within easy walking distance of beautiful coastal paths along the cliffs and access to the pebble-chalk beach. Just a short distance away is the dramatic natural ravine at Danes Dyke or the soaring chalk cliffs of Bempton with its RSPB wild bird centre, where you can view nesting puffins and gannets. Bridlington itself, with its historic harbour, is just a few minutes’ drive away with a promenade, old town and a golden sandy beach to discover. There is also the historic fishing village of Flamborough, with the iconic lighthouse perched up on the cliff tops and seal colonies below, whilst inland you have the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds. York, Hull, Scarborough and Beverley can all be reached in under an hour. This is a great choice of destination for those looking to explore the countryside and the many delights of Yorkshire as well as the east coastline. Children are sure to enjoy a day at the beach, as well as the fairground, arcades and the leisure centre with swimming pool and clip and climb wall in Bridlington. For an extra special treat, Flamingo Land theme park is less than an hour away. In nearby Scarborough there is Alpamare waterpark and spa next to Peasholm Park, which has a boating lake and open air theatre. A Sea Life Centre can also be found on the seafront. There is a host of attractions to choose from all within a short distance making this ideal for a holiday destination. Beach ½ mile. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Lovely quiet setting.
Was everything has advertised and more. Great weekend stay for daughter's 10th birthday and partners 50th. Daughter loved the hot tub and wants to come back again for longer, which I'm sure we will do.
