"Lovely rambling farmhouse dating back to early 1600s but nicely modernized. Perfect spot for Christmas with two families. Big kitchen with aga and large fridge (essential for 14 people over Christmas). Cozy sitting rooms, plenty of bathrooms. The grounds were perfect for a dog walk. "We really enjoyed our stay at Elbury Farm. Everything was just as described and it was very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen, with everything you need. There was plenty of storage space for our family of four with a lovely garden overlooking open fields. The property is located at the end of a lane, and it feels very rural but a newly built village just a mile and a half away has a supermarket, chip shop and pharmacy etc. Kathryn, the host, couldn’t have been more helpful with a query we...

"Lovely large rambling farmhouse not far from two great Devonian towns, Dawlish and Teignmouth. Very comfortable with all necessary on site facilities except laundry (launderette in either D or T), including two playful collies and a bonus half size snooker table. A couple of issues with bathroom plumbing and lighting but nothing to detract from a warm half term staycation with the family."

"The property is a beautiful old farmhouse which has been beautifully restored. Accommodation was well laid out and because of the host’s style and attention to detail felt very like ‘home from home’. All felt very relaxed and not ‘too perfect’ that you couldn’t relax and enjoy it. Great space for the children and a fabulous playroom which they all enjoyed using. "Great centrally located apartment. Quiet area. Comfortable and excellent amenities."

"Overall we enjoyed our stay but there was a few things that took the edge off a perfect break. The shower in the en-suite bedroom leaked through the kitchen ceiling so we couldn’t use it which meant that nine of us had to use the one other shower! The French door/window in the lounge was difficult to open & close and the rain came in at the bottom right side and the carpet got wet and we couldn’t open the bi fold doors in the dining area. The cutlery wasn’t very clean so we had to wash it all...

"Our stay was amazing. Judith , Julian and family were above and beyond. Our Grandsons had a wonderful time on the farm 🚜 we had a tour, bringing the cows in from the field , to watching them being milked, then to feed two new baby calves , and to end it with a tractor 🚜 ride 😀. The accommodation is very clean, and the boys loved living upside down lol 😆. The countryside is beyond words, stunning . I would recommend this 100% we shall definitely go again. Thankyou"
