Dirty place and old, stinky too . They gave me an old room and I complained it wasn’t what I had seen in the website so they move me to a different floor with a new bedroom but still smell like 💩. Don’t book it at this location if you are smart . The ladies managers are very rude -no education .

We booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children and it was huge. price and quality was good. The pool is good and big. The dinner was delicious and enough choice. The same applies for the breakfast. The service at the restaurant was not as good as the food. They were not very interested, gave us menu in French instead of English or asking us if we wanted the English one and not all employees spoke English. Hotel needs some remodeling as it is old from the inside (dirty carpets, old paint, etc); For one night i would recomend.

1 star at best
Dirty and run-down. I have no idea how this hotel earns 4 stars. Bathroom counters and walls have water spots and other stains, hairs on nearly every surface. Dust everywhere in bedroom. Carpets, especially in common areas dirty, stained, and old, unraveling at edges. The place looks like it was under renovation but never renovated. I’ve stayed in 2 star hotels far better than this one.

clean and easy stay close to airport
This was a last minute, need one night, close to the airport decision. The hotel was fine, clean and welcoming. The area is quite industrial and not much around. There was a decent burger restaurant next door that served good food. I would recommend if you need easy parking and easy transit to another deal destination, not sure I would stay more than a night or two.

Not a good experience at all!
It’s not like a 4star hotel! It’s just like a 2/3stars one! Very poor service, poor quality, sofa bed was very uncomfortable and we all ended up sleeping in one bed! Breakfast quality was so poor!

OK Hotel
Air con still very inadequate first night suffered with heat 2nd night had to get a stand up fan which made it bearable, rooms a bit dated though the lobby is modern, staff were friendly which makes a change in France. Wifi not very good, not anywhere near enough sun beds around the pool, water was cold and lots of kids. breakfast was ok, didn't have dinner there needed to get away from the kids, Hippopotamus restaurant close by and a Mcdonalds, tram 5 min walk to city center (20min). If i were stay in that area again i would book the Pullman Hotel.

Comfortable hotel, good for road access
We stayed at the Mercure with two children on our drive up France from Biarritz. The hotel is next to a big conference centre and a few other hotels. The hotel is modern and comfortable, with a smallish swimming pool that proved a welcome relief in the blazing sunshine. The room was fine, ours had a view of the lake. The air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was the usual baked goods and some hot food. We didn’t eat in the bistro, but there is a fair amount of choice with a nearby retail park and several other restaurants. Plenty of free parking, the hotel is just off the A630. There is also a nearby tram stop.

Disappointing stay
The staff were pleasant and helpful but the hotel was let down greatly by the standard of the room although it was clean. There was a broken floor light, sofa bed had bent metal sticking out from broken joints. The bathroom door had a missing hook and paint stripped off at the bottom from when the shower flooded the floor when it was used. We were given one pillow each and had to ask twice before getting more and we were told these were the last in the hotel. The air conditioning was non existent in our room and we had to sleep with the window open but then suffer mosquito bites. We left after 2 nights feeling exhausted.

Convenient hotel
We chose the hotel for its convenience in reaching the airport and tram connections to the city centre. The hotel was pleasant and the staff welcoming and helpful. Would stay at the hotel again.

Smart clean & comfy hotel with plenty of secure parking. good for overnight stop. shame pool was ice cold even in 30c heat & pricy bar at 7Euro 50cl beer & soft drinks too much. ended up at McDonald's around the corner. But overall nicer hotel than many around & would stay overnight again.

Unfortunately the room faced the sun, and with 34C the airconditioning was totally inadequate. Even changed rooms, still NO good had to ask for a fan to make it anywhere near bearable. The second floor lift up and down buttons were reversed. Kettle tray cracked from heat of boiling water. Pillows very small and sub standard. Staff did not have management support to correct wrongs. Got the impression the management did not care.

What a dump!
It seemed this establishment was on it last legs before closure. Holes in the old and very worn-out curtains, Walls with blood stains and marks that have not been cleaned for quite some time. This place was a filthy dive Having stayed at Mercure Hotels from Russia and across Europe, this one destroyed the image I previously had of Mercure Hotels being a reasonable stay. Thankfully we only stayed one night travelling through on our way to Spain. Couldn't wait to leave and get out of France back to civilization! The worst hotel I have ever stayed in, and I stay in roughly 50 hotels a year.

Very nice hotel, one thing lets it down though, paper cups in room, really! This is not a cheap hotel so why skimp on something as tacky as that. Only had two in our room so you could only have one drink each.
