The drive to Boothbay Harbour from the closest international airport in Portland, Maine takes about about 1.25 hours Take the train from Boston or Portland and rent a car in Brunswick for a scenic 45-minute drive down the peninsula to Boothbay Harbour. The town comes alive in the spring and summer. Visit in the winter for a cold and quiet but wonderful holiday experience.

Beautiful home and location
"Beautiful home that is a great proximity to Boothbay Harbor downtown. The pond is very nice but the water level was very low during our stay in March and there were no boats available as described in the listing. It is unclear whether this is something to note for all offseason travelers"
