Fantastic hotel and the food was absolutely incredible the chef cooks the most amazing food, we were sorry we didn't get a chance to tell him in person. The staff were all lovely very friendly and helpful. The hotel is really beautiful and the breakfast is bountiful we will definitely come back again soon.

"The Picture Perfect French Château updated to 2014"
Beautiful Château en route to Calais just a few minutes from St Omer where you have everything at your finger tips.
We stayed in the hotel annex (modern upstairs loft with downstairs bedroom) which while not in the château proper, was a reno of what was probably stables or other quarters. The main building has a beautiful feel and even though we arrived after dark were welcomed down a long driveway to what can only described as a picture perfect property.

The quality of the staff, cleanliness, breakfasts are excellent, and the position in the centre of St Omer outstanding. As we (imtended to say for several nights we wanted to unpack, but there were no drawers for clothes and limited hanging space. Shower, though OK, was "in the bath". Also parking can be a problem
Against these relatively small issues, the manager was very understanding when we had to cut our stay short because of a relatively serious accident I had finished up in St Omer hospital A&E, and allowed us to leave early without penalty

Wasn't sure what to expect as it has recieved some bad reviews. Got a very warm welcome when I arrived after a very long drive from the Loire. Shown to my room which overlooked the Mill race. Room was clean and well maintained if basic. Nice bathroom with shower attachment over the bath. Linen fresh and in good condition. I had booked dinner and it was superb. Limited menu but very well cooked and tasty. Didnt take breakfast as I had to leave early for Calais to catch the ferry. Will definatly be booking again for overnight stay next year.
