The staff were so friendly and helpful during our stay. We were given the number for “Paul” who drove us in a tuk tuk throughout Port Isaac and beyond. My only complaints are the stairs we had to climb with our luggage and the bed was not that comfortable. But, the hotel has that old world Cornish charm and they serve great pub food.

We are from Canada and we stayed there for for nights starting on July 3, 2023. Our first night we got a flat tyre on our rental car and the owner offered to pick us up in neighboring Bodin. We were lucky as the tow truck arrived quickly so it was not needed, but we appreciated the generous offer. We were given a nice large suite for a great price as we added a fourth night. The next morning the owner gave us ride into Port Isaac. The chef at the inn prepared some wonderful dishes. Chicken wings and fish pie were our favorites! Get there early if you want some fish pie. The pub was stellar as only in the tradition an old English pub should be. We hope to be back some day soon. Avoid the crowds in Port Issac and stay at the Cornish Arms Inn.😎

A quaint and convenient base for Port Isaac and other nearby sites. Staff are friendly and helpful. But note this is a communications blackout spot; even sat nav cuts out close to the inn, mobile signals are spotty at best, and the inn’s Wi-Fi just doesn’t work.

Traditional inn in good location. Room including bed/ linen very clean and comfortable however amenities in room were deficient. Unable to use eco friendly shower system as it was point of use so it cycled every 15 seconds from extremely hot to cold. Service was courteous and friendly.
