Great weekend getaway
Small birthday celebration with friends. The cabin was perfect! Very well equipped with everything we needed to stay in while being in a perfect location to venture out into the great outdoors. We will be back.

Beautiful cabin and location!
We went to see the eclipse at the Dee Wright Observatory. It was cloudy but we thoroughly enjoyed the area as there was so much beauty around. The trees, river, waterfalls, mountains and the peacefulness more then compensated for the clouds. The cabin is lovely and comfortable. It was the perfect vacation home. We will plan a winter trip now.

Tranquil Setting
Well appointed cabin with river view close to rafting and fishing on the Mackenzie River. Perfect for two to four fishermen. Nearby eateries with good menus and craft beers. Will definitely keep this place on the list of great options.

Disappointed in owner's lack of cooperation
We were looking forward to staying in this nice cabin. However, the big fire nearby made it impossible for us to go as one in our party has a serious asthma and there were warnings to stay indoors (but we were going there to hike). I pleaded with the owner to give us a credit so we could come later in the fall and use a cabin for which we already paid. The answer was NO.

Such a great spot

Charming log cabin with all amenities and view of river
We had a two day family wedding at Loloma Lodge just down the street- so this couldn't have been a better location for us. We had so much to do with the wedding we were a bit sad we didn't get to enjoy the cabin more. It has wonderful vaulted ceiilngs, cozy furniture, a fun sunporch with screens, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. Quiet and charming. We will come back!

Amazing cabin and host
Our stay at this McKenzie River Cabin was better than we expected. The cabin was spacious, clean, just as described in the listing and so peaceful. When we book a rental the kitchen is always my barometer of the property .This kitchen was clean, very well equipped and a delight to cook in. Thank you for such a memorable stay, we will be back!

Excellent Cabin Right near the McKenzie...
This is a great cabin for a long weekend away. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and the sounds of the river. Very rarely did we see any other guests that were staying at other cabins on the property. Our only suggestion is maybe replacing or even just giving some maintenance to the beds upstairs. The frames are very squeaky which can be heard throughout the house even if you just sit down on the edge, and the mattresses are quite hard. Despite this, we would still stay here again. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to stay!

Amazing location with beautiful views
The location is simply amazing— between the covered indoor/outdoor patio overlooking the McKenzie River, to the mountain ranges all around, it did not disappoint! The cabin itself was amazingly quaint and very clean. The upstairs beds are on the smaller side but each adult fit okay. The downstairs master was VERY comfy and even had heated blankets. Such a charming area, lots of hiking nearby and walkable amenities for food and whatnot (check out the McKenzie Obsidian Grill, SO cute and the staff are wonderful) The whole week was a lovely experience, can’t wait to come back and front family here.

Great place to stay
Played in the Tokatee Spring Opener and decided to stay in the area. The cabin was just awesome. Being close to the river and little restaurants in the McKenzie Bridge area was just perfect. the cabin is peaceful, clean and very nice. We both are coming back and bringing the wives. There were fire pits by the river and we actually sat by one with other guests and chatted with them. Thank you to the Hosts who were very specific and the directions were easy!

Family Getaway
We were searching for a cabin to take our 4 & 5 yr olds for Spring Break. This was the perfect location. Close to the mountain for snow tubing and a lot of opportunities to enjoy nature and spend time together as a family. It was a wonderful experience and great communication with the owners.

Comfy, Cozy, Perfect!
Beautiful cabin by the river. Gorgeous views & nice property. We had such a wonderful time ringing in the New Year in the cabin! Beds were comfortable & bedding was nice too. Extra blankets to keep warm & snuggle up in the screened in porch room while watching the river flow. Cabin was perfect size for our family of 4 & well stocked too! Kitchen had everything needed to cook a meal, along with a variety of games & movies to watch. We can't wait to visit again in the summer :)

Every Time Is Amazing
This is our favorite place to come - a lovely cabin, well equipped, in the most beautiful setting. We're always so grateful we can stay here. A full kitchen lets us bring our meals and do our own cooking, and it's comfortable enough to feel like home. Thanks again - we'll be back.

Simply a serene & fantastic setting
This is the third cabin at the property that we’ve rented from this owner. All have been great, but this one may be our favorite now. The cabin was well stocked with all that you could want to make your stay enjoyable. Just bring food & beverages! We had a comfortable and relaxing getaway, and hiked the nearby McKenzie River Trail, and I fly fished right out in front of the cabin.

We truly enjoyed our stay here, it was warm and cozy on our first rainy weekend in months. The only improvement we would recommend is more comfortable seating, especially the couch by the fireplace.

You're the first guest who's mentioned the couch. I'll look into it. As far as the rest of the cabin -- there are cushioned chairs throughout. I'm very surprised by this review.

We just loved this house/cabin. Super Clean and extremely maintained. You can hear/see the river from the porch. I could just sit on the porch for days and let the stress just melt away. We thought the best part of trip was going to be our rafting trip but it was this cabin!

Charming River-view Cabin
This cabin and its location were perfect! Beautifully landscaped cabin community with hundreds of feet of McKenzie River frontage. Lovely experience
Nice view of the river from the awesome screened in porch, very clean. Lots of outdoor activities, hiking along the Mckinzie river is close and just stunningly lush and beautiful. Bring a picnic and a camera for some unforgettable memories. Only a couple of restaurants in the area.

Cabin 13 summary
This property was great. The only thing negative I thought was that the TV was very confusing as far as how to get programs and channels. It seemed like you had to sign up for everything. Maybe we just weren’t tech savvy enough. Had great time regardless.

Weekend Hiking Trip
We love these cabins! Perfectly located for some hikes and some hot springs. Home cooking at the nearby restaurants or perfectly equipped kitchens to use. Comfortable beds, cozy fire place, great view of the river! Cute, cute, cute! Will definitely be back! Didn't expect snow covered trails in April...should have brought snow boots instead of hiking boots!

I got away to the cabin for some nature and relaxation and got that and then some! I did also work remote on my trip and the wifi was great. The cabin has everything you need and the pictures do not do it justice. I will return often!

Cozy cabin during spring break
Upon arrival, it was easy to access the key. The cabin had a great floor plan and the decor was not overdone. The kitchen was well stocked and organized, the living room was delightful- we loved the fireplace. We wished the screen in porch had windows, so it could be heated. But I bet the porch works great in the summer! The cabin was a little tight with only 2 rooms (5 of us and our dog) but we made it work. Our teen son did not mind sleeping on the pull out bed in the living room. My husband thought the dining room chairs were not comfortable and I wished there was more storage in the master bedroom. Walking around the other cabins and walking by the river was relaxing. All in all- we would stay again.

perfect winter getaway
Truly a spotless, well-appointed, property with river views and hiking all around. Walkable to small general store and beautiful "wayside" with picnic tables and short walk down to river. The cabin had everything we needed, from basic spices to cooking pans and knives that actually cut things (a rarity in a rental property). Comfy king bed, and perfect on-demand fireplace that both toasted up the room and gave you that romantic getaway vibe. Will definitely return.
