“Liked Bedford”

Was not aware that the balcony room opened up to the pool area. This caused a slight but constant chlorine smell as well as temperature and humidity control issue. That was the only negative. Breakfast was high quality. Room was clean, bathroom spotless. Towels were soft and absorbant. Would definately stay there again . . . just not in a balcony room.

Area recommendations

This is a great location for seeing Nashville, French Lick, Spring Mill State Park, and fall colors.

“Great Hotel”

This is a very nice hotel. The front desk staff were very helpful and appeared to be concerned that our stay was good. The breakfast was the usual fair, but not bad. Has a very nice pool and sauna area. It was a little difficult to get to at night, but we managed. We were in town for the IU football game and the rooms in Bloomington were at least 200 per night. This room gave us a discounted rated and was well worth the money. Overall, if we are ever in the area again this will be our hotel of choice.

“Good stay”

The breakfast was great. The cost of the room was a little high. We could hear noise and voices coming from the hallway and other rooms. There was only one elevator and it was a little slow. Overall, we had a good stay and will go back if we're in that area again.

“Wish all hotels could be this good!”

Our stay was wonderful. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and very customer oriented. Our room was one of the cleanest I've been in and everything in the room seemed fairly new. The carpet and furnishings were clean and the room smelled fresh, not musty like some hotel rooms. The continental breakfast consisted of cheese omelettes, bacon and cinnamon rolls. I would certainly stay here again. The hotel was quiet and would be a good place to stay for a family.

“New and clean”

We went to Bloomington on a spontaneous trip with our three kids. Stayed at Bedford HI Express. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel was quiet both inside and out. Breakfast was as advertised. Staff members polite. Very good product for price.
