Lovely quiet weekend
Arrived later than expected. Could have done with map to know where our log cabin was, but after driving round for while, saw some people who had map and found it then. Really pleased with property and will come again

Aww Nicky, sorry you found it hard to find the cabin. The numbers aren't in any logical order on the site. There is a map in the information pack I emailed you and also written directions from when you arrive at the Holiday Village, as I know how confusing the numbering of the cabins are. I'm glad you liked the cabin and look forward to welcoming you again in the future.

Wonderful little cabin
Beautiful place to stay and very quiet and peaceful. The host is amazing and there was plenty of equipment etc in the kitchen. Would recommend and would stay there again thanks

Great location which the dogs loved
Thought it was going to be a stressful week with our two young dogs but they loved it. Even chilling on a rainy day after a day climbing snowdon, believe me we needed the rest. Could do with a hose to help wash down the deck after the dogs odd accidents but other than that perfect. Will recommend 😊

Mountain retreat
The property was clean with everything that you needed for the stay. The outside was tired. As keen gardeners it was sad to see a once lovely garden overrun with weeds. Food at the onsite cafe was poor. The play area was very good, easy walking distance.

Thank you so much for your review. Unfortunately keeping on top of the garden this summer was almost impossible due to the continuous wet weather. On changeover days we always ensured the grass was cut and kept neat and tidy but weeding just wasn't an option when it was pouring with rain. I think the review regarding the food at Cafe Coed should have been put on their website as that is totally out of my control. I'm glad the children enjoyed the play area and that you found the cabin clean and with everything you needed.

We had a lovely time here in Snowdonia packed with things to do. Our time in the lodge was short but sweet and would definitely come back. The site and grounds are well kept and the dog walking area was lovely too.

Cosy comfortable all you need log cabin
From the moment we made the booking, the owner emails you all the information you need to make your stay super enjoyable. The log cabin has everything you need for your stay. The decking is fabulous & sun drenched all evening, perfect for taking in the fantastic views whilst having a relaxing drink. The garden is lovely & well looked after. There is so much to do in the area, from walks on the beach to thrilling activities. We had a fabulous holiday and will definitely book again. Thank you

We stayed here for three nights and the location is perfect. We had a great time and we enjoyed ourselves with beautiful weather. We also think that the lodge could do with an upgrade and maybe personal but i would have loved a better matras.

This was a beautiful property, set in the most idyllic grounds. Everything was exactly as described, the views surrounding the property are second to none and Liz was an excellent host. Would highly recommend and we will hopefully return next year!

Amazing stay
Stayed at Trawsfynydd holiday village a few times in different cabins but this was the first time in this cabin and all i can say is Amazing communication from property manger, answered all questions i had asked before booking and once booked. Love the location as it is out of the way with great walks for the dogs but also not far drives from places to visit. Its like a home from home even more so that this cabin allows pets, when i messaged to say i had three frenchbull dogs before booking to see if they could all go the host was more than happy to allow it. Will 100% be booking again.

Amazing cabin
The cabin itself was just the break away we needed, wish we coild have stayed longer. The double bed was a bit hard but both my partner and I had no problems with sleeping on it. Our 2 year old didnt want to leave and named the cabin as 'my house' he is asking to go back and weve been home for 5 days. Will definitely visit again!

Cosy cabin in the mountains
These log cabins aren't big, but this one at least was comfortable, well equipped, and you are out in the mountains and hills very much. The holiday village is quite isolated - there's a little bar and shop on site, but other than places to walk/bike there's nothing else to get to without driving.

New years break
Booking was straight forward and the owner was great with the communication how to get there etc. The cabin was clean and tidy apart from a few dirty dishes in the cupboard which are still there as they wasn’t my dishes to wash. The heat inside the cabin was a little too much to bear but there was notices saying do not turn off the storage heaters in the winter time so open windows it was but it rained constantly so this made it difficult to have the winds open. The double bed has an extremely hard mattress which is quite uncomfortable. There was no where to say where you put the rubbish so we had to leave two bags of rubbish one recycling and one rubbish. On the whole a cosy little cabin. But I wouldn’t stay there again.

Glad to hear you found the cabin cosy, clean and tidy. The storage heaters have heat settings on them 1 to 6 so you can adjust them to suit you. I emailed you an information pack with all the details for your stay plus a site map. It tells you where the nearest recycling/rubbish compound is which is just 100 meters away from the cabin at the top of the hill. I'm sorry the mattress didn't suit you. It's a new mattress which is medium firmness and we've put a thick mattress protector on top to make it softer to try to accommodate everyone.

Great little cabin with lovely views of the mountains
Even though we stayed in Feb the views are lovely from outside and inside the cabin. It has everything you need if you want to cook for yourself too. We found it super relaxing and great break away from our usual hustle and bustle. Would recommend. It's isn't 5 star but for what we paid we thought it was worth every penny :-)

Great all round apart from weather being stormy. Lots of walls, hikes, cycling in the area with lakes and mountains to walk. Site was peaceful. Contact with owner was great. Log cabin was clean, tidy, cozy and warm. Pizzeria and The Bryn restaurants lovely. Zipworld was fun. Would go back.

It was perfect for myself and my 2 dogs.IT Was well equipped and cost the only problem was the bedroom with double bed.not enough room really. I'm small and found it a squeeze so a large person has no chance but overall it was great

We recently bought the mattress on the double bed and we did go for a firm mattress and put a thick softer mattress topper on top. I had hoped that this would suit most people as the topper can be removed if a firmer mattress is required. I realise that I can't please everyone's sleeping requirements as some people will prefer very soft and some extra hard mattresses. As I said in my email I'm very sorry it didn't suit your needs.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I do agree that the bunk beds are more ideally suited for children rather than adults, as although they are 3ft long they are narrow and specially built to fit in the 2nd bedroom.

Really enjoyed our stay and Liz was super helpful with arranging a cot for us when the on-site management refused to lend it. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a few days stay. A couple of improvements could be made (new/ thicker mattresses for the double bed and an umbrella or anything providing shade for the porch) but overall, it was a lovely stay and we truly enjoyed it! Absolutely amazing too to provide a welcome pack that gives you an overview of the area and places worth visiting ♥️

Fantastic stay
Communication beforehand was great and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better location enjoyed a few g&t's watching the sunset behind the mountains. Location great for local walks and 25 minutes from Barmouth beach. Will be booking again in the summer 👌👍
