“Not impressed!”
Where to begin? Upon arriving we were told that we had not paid for the room (we were certain we did, but paid again). Turns out we were charged twice and are still waiting to get reimbursed. The entire hotel needed work done to it. Room was smelly, damp and dingy. The blankets had hair all over them and the bed itself was horrible (our rental car would have been more comfortable). The shower was mouldy. The staff at the front desk could not tell us where the main motorway was or how to get to it. I don't think the hotel could pay me enough to stay there again!!!
“aamir”
excellent , great hotel staff, breakfast was amazing.
“Nice and comfy”
Good value for money. The people at the desk were kind and helpfull.
“Good Breakfast, bit far from central”
If you do not drive, I dont recommand this hotel as it takes 15-20 mins walk from the SNOW HILL station, not any of the Birmingham station. Otherwise, you can take a taxi from Birmingham New station to there costs 7.5pounds Despite the location, service is good, room size is bigger than expected (I had a room for 3 adults), the hot English Breakfast is nice, I cant remember how much i paid for that but it was reasonable. As my room is on the top floor, i need to take the stairs up as the lift only goes to the 3rd floor.
“Stay Away!!!!”
The most awful hotel i have ever stayed in. It is not a 3* in any way. The quilt covers had cigarette burns, the bathroom was smelly, the lifts were smelly. It really does not deserve a star rating. The walls are not sound proof, was woken up at all times of the night with noise from the rooms either side! Think twice before booking!
