“Scenic area but off the beaten path”

The Summit at Big Sky is located at a ski resort and for those visiting in the off season the hotel and the surrounding area are almost empty of visitors. However our room at the hotel was spacious, clean, and nicely appointed with wonderful mountain views. Unfortunately many of the hotel amenties like the espresso bar were closed during our stay and the place felt like a ghost town.

Area recommendations
Big Sky is probably great during ski season.

“Perfect location for ski in/ski out.”

The huge indoor/outdoor spa/hot tub was the perfect way to meet new friends and unwind after a full day of skiing/snowboarding. The only problem was a leaking dishwasher in the kitchen.

Area recommendations
Big Sky Resort. We understand the snowmobile trip to Yellowstone is a must do. The weather was too cold while we were there.
Getting there
From Bozeman airport take the Karstage shuttle. You don't need a car!

Dining
Lotus Pad Thai Restaraunt - reservations highly recommended. Very reasonable prices.
