"We had a wedding to go to close by and a recovery party at the Sir George so we decided to stay at Geralda Cottage. It is a lovely country cottage that is very private with beautiful views. "Economic place to stay half way on the Melbourne to Sydney trip. Clean and comfortable. I travel this route often and always look for something away from the highway to limit the traffic noise. I know from experience that the trucks go all night. This looked to fit that criteria but it's high on a hill with no buffer between the highway and the room even though it's a distance away.
