“Great ocean view and beach”

Great ocean view. Good beach area, and also adjacent to Elbow Beach. Very convenient for bus service getting to both ends of the island and the city. Not much night life in the off season, but close enough to get to the city for night clubs and dining.

Area recommendations

Hamilton - the capital as it is close to the downtown area where the night life happens. Another are would be the Flatts.

Getting around

The bus service is excellent. However, on Sundays, limited service. Taxis are great as well.

“Coco Reef is a real value”

Coco Reef is a lovely hotel in the best area of Bermuda. Wonderful beaches, hiking, shopping and all amenities are within walking distance. Local buses run almost from the door. Staff are all polite, accomodating and available. This is not a luxury hotel but more than comfortable and beautiful.

“One of the most BEAUTIFUL places in the world!”

The second your cab pulls up to the front there is a person waiting to welcome you and take your bags. You walk into the lobby where you are surrounded with marble tile pillers and catherdral ceilings, beautiful Bermudian art and a warm welcome from the staff. After checking they escort you to a golf cart where your bags have been taken. They drive you through the resort to your room. Once at your room, they take your bags for you and escort you to your room. During the entire process they tell you the history of the place. We had a beach front room on the second floor. The room was beautiful. Tile floors through out, the sliding doors where the expanse of the room. We immediately opened the curtains to a beautiful scenic view of the grassy knoll and the beach only a few feet from our room. The setting was wonderful, the resort warm and inviting and the food was amazing. I can't wait to go back!

Area recommendations

We have only seen Pagent Parish but from driving around the island there doesn't seem to be any bad place to stay. It was stunning, the people were beutiful and so warm and friendly every where. There are no bad views, you are surrounded with beaches, coral, and blue green water where ever you look with the lush green. With the bright colored flowers as your back drop to the beautiful people, beaches and water you can't go wrong in my opinion.

On the way to our hotel the cabby driver gave us the tip to go to the local market about 4 blocks from our hotel for snacks and alcoholic beverages. We listened to him and it really helped keep the expense of our food down. We of course ate dinner in the resort's restaurant almost every night and we had lunch there as well. But we had gotten several different types of cheeses and crackers, along with some fruit and alcohol, we would get a wonderful lobster and shrimp salad for lunch from the resort and eat it on the beach with our fruit or cheese anc crackers. We would take our alcohol with us also and bring plastic cups which saved us a lot of money on our bar bill.

“Couldn't ask for something better!”

Gorgeous view, so close to the ocean. Romantic. Spacious balcony. The best deal around. Helpful front desk concierge assisted us in planning activities. Wish we never had to leave!

“Bermuda-ful!”

The staff of Coco Reef were friendly and helpful! We enjoyed our stay very much. The view was excellent! The ac was a bit noisy but worked well. We just couldn't run it at night. It was my husband's birthday and the manager sent us champagne! Nice touch! The location was great! sort of central and not far from Hamilton. We had a wonderful time and feel like we saw the whole Bermuda-ful island!

“Beautiful beach”

Fantastic view and beach right out the front door. Grocery store was a 15 minute walk away....good for stocking up on breakfast staples and snacks. Convienient to bus stop for trips to Hamilton or Dockyard. Beach was beautiful and not crowded. Would go back.

“Friendly staff, beautiful setting.”

Loved the scenery and the staff. Great restaurant, pool, and beach. Compact and unique gift shop. The only drawback was the distance to the bus stop but that was easily solved by taking a taxi.
