Great staff - friendly and very helpful. Location was not in the best part of the city, but it was near a Ubahn stop, so getting around the city was easy.

Hotel above expecation, location somewhat below
Located in a side road, close to an underground station, but you must be willing to travel a few minutes and potentially change trains to reach the sightseeing spots. More distracting is the fact that there are not so many eating options in the vincinity. Hotel is clean, room is fine and wifi works well.

Comfortable and easy access to public transport
I enjoyed my staff. For a 3 star hotel, the hotel is excellent and the breakfast is great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a area with a run down feel but once you enter the hotel you totally forget about that. Public transport (train and bus) are within a one block radius and the hotel is easily reached by public transport from Tegel airport with only 1 transfer.

The hotel was close to the theater
The hotel staff were very nice, they accommodated for early check in. The location was in the "arab section" of town (so the Arab man in a shop told me) kind of close to the theater we went to, however this location is not really a very nice part of Germany, there was garbage everywhere. I wouldn't go back to this part of Germany.

Disappointing and unsettling stay
I arrived at 12:30am and checked-in. The room #15 was single but I booked a double. Went back to the reception to change into double room as per booking. They did not have anything in non-smoking block so I ended up in a very smelly room #407. At 3:00am some person entered my room with a key. I have no clue who he was or what he wanted.

Was a very good break, but i did specify a DOUBLE bed, as it was intended as a romantic break for us, but had two singles!!! Bit naff really as i booked this a good while ago too. If this cannot be a guarantee the next time we visit Berlin, then we have no other choice but to choose another hotel and booking agent.

A Bit Out of Town
We stayed here for 3 days. The room was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated that the hair dryer was located on a wall outside the bathroom so I could dry my hair while my partner showered. We had a room at the back of the building and it was extremely quiet. The internet was free in public areas. Secured parking cost extra but you could also park on the street. We found the front desk people took a lot of smoke breaks and weren't knowledgeable about the city but the brochures available in the lobby were very helpful. There's a u-bahn station quite close to the hotel. We would stay here again.

Recommended, I would return.
Hotel was nice, close to Grenzalee tube station, so ideal for city center access. Can't comment on breakfast as didn't have any. Only slightly annoying thing is that the house keepers start around 8am and they are very noisy, almost as if they are trying to wake you up or stop you sleeping in. It could also be because of the sound proofing of the room/corridor. Despite this issue I would recommend this hotel and I would use it again.

Not as far from city centre as you might think.
A nice friendly smaller than average Ibis. Interesting location a very short distance (200yards) from U-Bahn (U7) in travel zone B. Making it much closer in time to city centre than you might think. Staff were very pleasant at both reception and breakfast. Breakfast Buffet was varied and fresh with a good selection. Typical Ibis 'pod' style bathroom thats functional, clean with loads of hot water and clean towels. PC with internet access available in small seating area near reception (only found part way through our break) was handy. Bedroom is simple but has all you need (including hair dryer & TV) and was spotless.

first time in Berlin
My stay was great, what made it great was the staff. They were very helpful and attentive. The rooms were clean and cosy. Its just outside the centre and as a result might put a few people off, but if you dont mind a few exta stops on the metro, worth the saving.

Good budget hotel
We travelled during Easter holidays. The hotel is located in the suburb of Berlin. Metro station is very close to the hotel and the surface train station is not far away too. One need to make one metro change to reach Alexander Platz or Brandenburger Tor. There are few cheap cafes and a restaurant around the hotel. I was staying in the ground floor and the room was ok. There was daily room-service. A good budget hotel little far from the city center.

Good BUDGET hotel.
We had a nice stay in this low priced hotel. We wanted to be close to the Estrel Hotel & Convention Center and it kinda was. It was a 30 minute walk (I walk fast) or an 8 Euro taxi. However, internet was terrible. Only about a 1/3 of the room can access it. Otherwise you still pay to sit in the lobby and use it. I am also glad I didn;t pay for the breakfast as it was not good for the 12 Euros they wanted for it. It is however close to a subway stop and billiards bar and convenience store.

CheckIn und CheckOut waren Dank der wirklich sehr netten und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeiterinnen schnell und kompetent. Auch die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war nicht zu beanstanden. Die Zimmer selbst sind klein und das Bad ist unwesentlich größer als das eines Wohnmobils. Das Frühstück war zwar sehr reichhaltig, es war alles da, was man sich so wünscht. Insgesamt ist allerdings der dafür aufgerufene Preis unangemessen. Da geht man besser in der Nachbarschaft essen.
