So the room was a bit small and being literally in the loft, the room sloped and gave restricted head height. The other problem was that during the day it got really really hot, it was like being in an oven. The wifi was very unreliable. The breakfast was actually very reasonable and varied. Good effort there.

The rooms are big with lots of single beds , the bedding was very clean but the mattresses were very bad quality . The breakfast is basic with low quality food ( the coffee is disgusting ! )

Beds were good and also the breakfast. Nice lounge area where we could sit with a drink bought from the 24h reception. At the entrance it said "youth hotel". Many young people coming back from the bars in the morning, sp that can be a bit noisy. Especially if (when) they continue the party in the room. Parking can be difficult here. It's not possible to park with app, so you need coins or it's a 20 min walk to the nearest car park.

Would stay again.
Great place to stay, friendly, comfortable and clean. Only small negative is that it was not located on the street and there was very little signage to indicate the location. You need google maps to find it.

it is clean and friendly. the breakfast is very nice. beds super and the bathrooms nice and always with hot water .people working in it are very helpful and kind. the problem is that late at night the internet is not working and the lights go off out of the blue. furthermore, it is difficult to find the hotel because it is located in a covered walkway which is not noticable . there is not security too ..there is poor public transport connections (not many lines passing from this area) , all in all, it is a nice place to stay for a couple of days and maybe more.

Great for students who don't care about hotels
Go somewhere else during the Summer. It was 30°C for the week we stayed but the room doesn't have a fan or A/C so sleeping was a nightmare. The included breakfast was underwhelming with no hot food. Next time I will spend a bit more to stay somewhere nicer.

We wtorek there on an extremely hot day. The room was clean, nice but not all windows worked and it did not have AC, nor even a fan which made the stay very hard. Lofts normally get very hot when it's sunny so having no fan there was a mistake. Besides that everything was nice

Clean and simple
It's a nice place although it has a youth hostel feel to it more than a hotel feel. The rooms are small, the bathrooms smaller, and there are no amenities in the rooms. The wifi was down for a whole day too. But it's affordable, and the breakfast room was full of young families and youths. The neighbourhood is great, especially toward the northwest and Kollwitzstrasse.

Great hotel in great location
Good clean hotel close to Alexsanderplatz and Mauer Park. Friendly staff, great breakfast, good size rooms. Great travel links to most of Berlin, really handy tram stop on the next road. If you stay here try Bear Burger, it's only 100m away and so good!

Good base for a city break on a budget
Slightly taken by surprise on arriving, this feels a lot more like a youth hostel than a hotel and its name in German reflects that.friendly and helpful staff. Accommodation basic but clean and modern enough. Good continental breakfast constantly replenished by the staff. Convenient location just on M4 tram route about 4 or 5 stops to Alexander Platz. If you want to eat locally head for the other end of Immanuelkirchstraße and around Kollwiczstrasse. Good for somewhere to get your head down for a busy city break on a budget.

Basic but clean rooms; Excellent service
Quiet and fairly safe location in Prenzlauer Berg, with easy access to tram. Rooms are quite basic and spartan, but clean. Breakfast is extensive and excellent. Service was outstanding: not only was the staff friendly and helpful, but as we had to leave early for a flight on our day of check out, they called a cab for us well ahead of time, and laid out the breakfast spread earlier than usual.

Good value and great location for family vacation
Had a wonderful experience at Hotel Transit Loft during our 4 night stay in Berlin. Family of 4 including 2 young adult children - room of 4 twin beds worked surprisingly well. Excellent budget accommodation very close to tram line and only a few stops from Alexander Platz. Clean with storage space, beds comfortable, bathroom functional and breakfast had good variety with great coffee. Breakfast area is bright with plenty of seating. Hotel is on a quiet street and building quiet as well which meant good sleeps. Staff very friendly and helpful and we appreciated the bar on site to get a drink in evening when we'd returned from a long day. Only suggestion is to shower in the evening as water temperature fluctuates in the morning likely from high use at that time. Thank you to the staff for a great stay!

Great price to value in Prenzlauer area
The hotel is a hidden gem in the Prenzlauer district. I often stay in this area and the quality of lodging varies quite a bit from low cost, moderate quality to high cost, decent quality. This hotel provides a good middle ground with a good price to value ratio. The breakfast is excellent and the breakfast room has an area for socializing other times of the day.

We had a great stay - the beds and pillows were comfortable - the breakfast was very good and the hotel staff were friendly. It was in a good location for what we needed near the tram and buses. The room was clean - the carpet a bit dingy would be my only suggestion for improvement.

Excellent location only 2 mins walk from tram for direct transport into berlin centre. Clean comfortable room. Free safe. Good continental breakfast served until 12:00 hrs. Free wifi.

It was a last minute booking for an overnight stay since flight was postponed , its in a residential neighbourhood, fromthe lift to the room all things are basic. no luxury in room .. not even fan.. but staff (bascially the two chaps who manage reception) is so nice and friendly and go out of the way to make things work.. like making my breakfast ready at 4 AM to let me catch a flight in time .. overall its cheap and thus value for money

Big, clean rooms, don't be frightened by the outside or the hallways the rooms are lovely. Friendly staff that helped out if you had any questions. A 15-20 min walk to Alexanderplatz where you can find shopping and also take the metro or bus pretty much anywhere in Berlin. Asked the hotel to call a cab and it was there before you even got down to the street. Only downside was that there was no Ac so it got a little bit warm. Overall very happy with our stay and really recommend it to others!

Great place for a family to stay!!!!
We had a room with 6 single beds which worked out great for our family of 5. The facility had a wonderful breakfast buffet and the staff was very pleasant. The location was also central to sightseeing. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and will recommend to all our family and friends.

Great place!
Stayed at Hotel Transit Loft for three days with my 16 y old son. We had booked a triple room and were given a 6 bed room on the 4th floor! This meant more room to spread out. I was a bit worried that a triple room would be too small so this was a great bonus! Loved the location, have stayed in P-Berg before - just my kind of place! Room and bathroom was very clean, windows opened (some places you can't open the windows). Plenty of towels, bedding etc. Staff very friendly and polite. Could all speak English and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Small bar also which served soft drinks and a selection of alcohol. Can't think of a bad thing to say, would definitely stay here again! Breakfast very nice , something for everyone!

Great hostel
Our stay was very good. The was a tram station near by which allowed us to go back and forth from the city easily and it was very easy to use. It was nice to stay in a hostel with a private bathroom. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores near by which was convienent. Overall this a good place to stay if you don't want to pay a lot for a hotel.
