“Quality Hotel”

Hotel was decent enough, but they are doing construction in front of the hotel which is going to be blocking the water view from some of the floors. Bergen is an expensive city, but this hotel is a decent price for the location offered. Right downtown just off the plaza. Rooms are the typical small size European room. The continental breakfast was fabulous.

The hotel is in a really handy location right by the Fisketorget, near to one of the airport bus stops and surrounded by eating places. In the daytime this is great but not so good when you're regularly woken at 3am in the night by revellers leaving the bars and clubs. I didn't sleep well for my entire stay. My room was facing the water and was on the 3rd floor so maybe those elsewhere in the building would fare better. The buffet breakfast is good, not the widest choice I've ever had, but it was fine and substantial enough. There's a small selection of snacks on sale in the hotel lobby. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout and the room was clean and well kept.

Road out front dug up. Hard to access front door. Walking through mud in the rain with suitcases. Older hotel, needs a facelift. Great breakfast however and decent price!

“Awesome harbor front hotel in Bergen!!”

Fabulous hotel ~ beautiful, clean, modern, nautical themed rooms, coupled with the sleek, upscale, modern Scandinavian decor. Large, skylit breakfast room, with excellent breakfast, which is included in price. Located right on the harbor front facing the colorful and historical merchant row buildings. You won't be disappointed! ++down side was outside construction was ongoing right in front of the hotel, but not anything the hotel can control, and the noise continues all night. Rooms facing the harbor front are affected by the noise++ Happy travels!

“would go again”

very comfortable, spacious room, good breakfast, very convenient location just next to the fish market, and with great views of the surrounding area. the only problems were some disruption from refurbishiment work that was going on in the hotel at the time, and some disturbance at night from a funfair right outside which seemed to go on all night - but that wasn't the hotel's fault. Good value for money, would go again.

“My room: Pros and cons”

The room was very spacious and large. However, the mini bar did not work. And it was very confusing and cumbersome to get to my room from the reception, as it involved two elevators, and numerous hallways. Also, the room furniture was old.

“Bra og sentral beliggenhet, men mye støy”

Hotelet ligger fint til rett ved zakariasbryggen / fisketorget / bryggen. Dette gjør at det er kort gangavstand til de mest sentrale tingene. Ulempen var at det var høyt støynivå fredag kveld for den som skulle sove litt. Frokosten på hotellet var ok, men bacon var tørr / ikke god. Hotellet er nok ikke pusset opp på noen år, men rommene var fortsatt helt greie. Rent, stort og bra rom, med utsikt mot bryggen og fisketorger. Det bygges en ny turistinformasjon rett utenfor hotellet som tar noe av utsikten mot bryggen. Bra alternativ for den som skal ut på byen på kvelden / natta ..
